Yo Alc - I saw you mention the tough contracts the Cavs got going, but you should peep the Rockets. Their top 3 are gonna cost $118 million or something alone by 2022. Ways off I know, but even if they keep up their quality pace (which they may), the team’ll be in trouble putting other valuable pieces around them.

Alch, I know this unrelated to this whole video but please make a video on the comments Kevin durant said about Lebron that no one wants to play with him. My two cents are that Kevin Durant spoke nothing but the truth about LBJ and he might have his reasons for saying that (one reason being he doesn’t want no one to team up with him including himself). I also think the media will bash KD being the messenger in this situation. A lot of stars in the leauge are getting bold and speaking against Lebron James and the narrative of 'everyone wants to play with him'. I know this is early season drama but it definitely will have ripple effect on stars across the league not wanting to play with LBJ.

Lol Loon is just hella fun to root for! I though McKinnie looked pretty good for how little touches he got. Don’t underestimate the pride of a champion. They remember that national televised spanking they took last month. I don’t see a blowout.

Every time Looney takes a midrange jumper, a sad puppy is cuddled, starving kids are provided food, and everyone gets +1 day to their lifespan. hahahahaha nah I kid. Obviously the point is, I will forever love when Looney takes (and MAKES) those mid range jumpers! If he continues to do that more and more, the spacing will open up massively and the death lineup will be alive and well even WITHOUT Cousins! Steph-Klay-KD-Loon-Dray. You got a frontcourt of 3 dudes who can all switch out and play lockdown defense. And then 4/5 of them can all be shooting threats!!!!! Omg the possibilities right now if Looney just steps a few more feet back and starts knocking down 3s. I might be overreacting but goddamn all I want for him is to take 3s. Anyway. Klay had just an awful game. I dont know why hes being so inconsistent right now. Makes no sense really. Also, what a shitty return for McKinnie. He had some nice rebounds but was basically nonexistent in the game. Without Steph, the Cavs actually couldve won this game. That is NOT a good sign. Im nervous for the Bucks tomorrow. I feel like a blowout is incoming :/ unless Klay can get going and the defense can be up. I dont see how theyre gonna compete with the length and athleticism of Milwaukee though. Outside the starters....our bench is totally screwed. Here's my prediction. ONE person on the bench needs to go for +20pts for the Warriors to win. Cook. McKinnie. Jerebko. Livingston. Whatever. If just ONE Warriors bench player gets 20pts, the Warriors win tomorrow (but this does not count getting 20 cuz they played all garbage time cuz they got blownout). Im talking consistently contributing in the first half and third quarter. We get one single 20pt scorer on Friday, we win. If not.....Warriors probably lose by 15+ tomorrow. :/

I was hoping you'd cover the play the Ws ran at the end of the 1st quarter with, what, 2 seconds left on the clock? Looked like they ran Curry through two screens and did a variation of the elevator door play to free him up to get the ball ... and sink that acrobatic 3 point shot.

I can’t complain! I was given a body for hoops for sure. But I’m a Buck ninety with timbs on! A lot of these guys that play center or down low in these rec leagues are like 240 with a gut . That’s the one way they can get over on me. If it keeps happening, I try to pull the carpet and try to get them off balance.

Bro, being 5'8...I wish I was 6'3 when playing pickup haha. When not expecting it, man someone lowering their shoulder charging into you can briefly, briefly take the wind out of you. I remember some high school lower his shoulder into it and I wasn't expecting it. Fortunately, I was able to scout the fool and turns out he can't shoot so I knew he was always gonna drive. All I did was simply arm bar when he got close and he didn't make a single shot lmao. And he kept driving too lol

It'll be a massacre. Part of the reason we were so good in 2016 was because we had more 3 point shooters in our starting lineup. PnR with Boogie will be absolutely nasty because they can't back off of him from the arc. Defensively is where I'm worried about Boogie. He is also a bit slow in transition.

Cavs played extremely well, we definitely could have lost this without Steph really pushing the pace and having a hyper efficient game (actually got FT calls!). You could tell some possessions Steph was yelling at KD to inbound the ball faster. That's something KD still doesn't realize about Warrior offense - he takes too much time jogging up the court and letting the defense set up instead of creating offensive chaos. In some ways, that describes why there was beef between Dray and KD in that Clippers game with Dray trying to push the lace and KD demanding the ball and lagging behind. I like how they were feeding Klay at the end to give him some confidence for the next game. We need him to shoot better than 5/15. KD surprisingly starting to take way more 3s and notice he didn't post up much the last few games unlike the rest of the season, which opens up more space for rest of the team. Passing and decision making were solid for KD too. Livingston and Iguodala showing some nice aggression. Oh and Steph is back at 50% from three point range, 30.2 points, and has the highest TS% of any players logging in 30 minutes per game. At this rate, this will be unquestionably the greatest offensive season of all time, eclipsing his 2nd mvp season. I woukd credit this success a lot to his jumps. Look at his early struggles last season when his jumps were way higher than in practice sessions. Then he started achieving his usual form again ironically after his injury return.

I love that Jerebko and Durant are both looking to pass more, especially when it's Durant and Klay with the bench. I worry about Igoudala's unwillingness to score when he's entirely on the second unit after Boogie returns. Your point about McKinnie's switching was very interesting, I can see him playing important minutes with the core 4 in the playoffs if Boogie can't hold it together on the defensive end. Jerebko is great and his hustle rebounds are sweet but I don't see his defense being strong enough against the best of the best.
