Where there's smoke there's a a five alarm fire....and there's smoke. A lot of smoke. Curry is in some parallel universe, Klay is just trying to get his, Kerr can't coach in a way to close games out. C'mon up by 6 points with the ball. O HELL NAH GOTTA WIN THAT

YANCEY WADE

I was really impressed with KD this game. He had some fight in him. Am I the only one who thinks we don't need to keep on going over the screens? Our defense keeps on breaking down because of this. Let them shoot and just try to contest, unless if the player is hot.

adrian salazar

No... there is a pecking order, disrupting that threatens the chemistry. Only way would be if he asked it, or got hurt.

Athletic Alchemy

Alch do you see a world where Dray loses his starting spot to say Looney once Boogie joins, if he can't get back into form?

Neal X

Great point! Nurse was on there bench the last few years under Casey. You would think he would be more aware of that. Maybe some pride at play, with his first big shot.

Athletic Alchemy

Almost feels like Toronto is setting a trap for themselves again this year. Playing super hard in the regular season, a lot of effort every single game. And then come playoff time are they gonna be burnt out again?

TGonz510

Quinn Cook has been playing very well off the bench, at least offensively. I mean look at his stats and how much role he played when Curry was out. Everyone knows he's a bad defender but he's not going anywhere soon. You do realize 11 points off the bench is actually really good?

Paradox

The refs werent exactly helpful in this game. But dear lord have mercy do we have a problem with the bench. I mean that was a pathetic showing all around from everyone besides KD and that was a lame 30 points from him even then. NO KAWHI LEONARD????? And this happens? Now the season isnt all lost and whatever. But damn this lost hurt BAD. Wtf happened here. Quin Cook......Ive given up on him. Damian Jones -- I was willing to still hold out for him! He was slowly but surely improving!!! And then the unfortunate injury. But Quinn cook is done. He wont improve more than what he is now. He is an 11 pt per game scorer that never scores when it really matters. The only reason he's there is to keep KD happy. If KD leaves after this season (ring or no ring), I want Quinn Cook out of there IMMEDIATELY.

Jansen E

I was worried about KD for sure. He seems like the type to play through

Athletic Alchemy

He already said he was joking about the moon thing. You know how it is. We all have mindless conversations with our friends. Except this shit was on a podcast. No one has a sense of humor about anything anymore. Steph wasn't exhausted because he was out the previous night. Right away at tipoff the Raps went out of their way to wear him out. Even when he didn't have the ball, watch what Ibaka is doing to him. At one point almost tripped him. Steph is sort of like Neo in The Matrix. They have to figure out a way to slow down time around him. Also, he seems to be much more muscular than like a few days ago? Like at the top part of his arm/shoulders? I don't know if that makes him not as fluid as before? I really don't know. We'll see in the next few games.

Bailey

Never overlook the silver lining of a game where there are no major injuries.

Steven Stanley

It was a poor performance from the team and Steph in a game that determines nothing important.

Steven Stanley

But he played well last game and that was after the moon comment. I think the combination of length and physicality from FVV kinda got him out of rhythm. Doesn't happen all the time but it happens. Steph is at his best when he is relaxed and unfortunately refs only occasionally call off ball holds and handchecking. Dude looked exhausted.

Paradox

Honestly I think the whole moon landing thing may have had something to do with Steph's game last night. Having that little bit of extra controversy going into the game certainly wouldn't make it easier to bounce back in a big match like this- add that to the bad scoring all around and anyone would get tilted.

Klay is doing too much at this point. It’s probably hurting his value more than helping it.

Athletic Alchemy

Yeah not feeling the color scheme... the look like Michigan or Denver

Athletic Alchemy

This game screamed Zo....IDK!

Athletic Alchemy

Someone let him know then!

Athletic Alchemy

Go check the footage on Boogie... it’s not promising. I agree Boston has the highest ceiling... Philadelphia could be scary too if make another move like they plan to.

Athletic Alchemy

Agreed.. it’s a gift and a curse.

Athletic Alchemy

If we can’t beat these guys without Kawhi, we don’t deserve to have Boogie and we can’t rely on Boogie to solve all our problems, ESPECIALLY defensive rotation, which has been below average thus far.

Man the Warriors didn't even get bad shots, they just clunked their open ones. I noticed Steph was getting handchecked from full court while being grabbed off ball by FVV, like Bledsoe did for the Bucks. If Steph did that he'd get 3 personals each quarter lol. Crazy stat that Klay is averaging the same FGA as KD and Curry. I realize that includes games where he had to carry the load but he's still taking way too many shots in possessions where he should be passing for a less contested shot. Haven't finished the vid yet but I am guessing you will talk about Bell's small hands and never fixed tendency to contest pump fakes. Jesus this guy is starting to annoy me with his repetitive mistakes.

Paradox

It's time to trash those jerseys... they're officially cursed.

SunniDaZambi

Was hoping to see mckinnie go in for draymond but we get ol butter fingers again :/

Kyle Most

Bell is left handed

SunniDaZambi

These are the dog days of their season, and they were licking their balls in the shade last night. I think they'll wake up when Boogie arrives, something to work on for the playoffs, will give the games some meaning. Even as bad as it's been since the first ten games they're tied for first and with no obvious challenger in sight; they don't want to lose home court to Denver, but even that isn't the end of the world. And you can't assume they'll meet the Raptors in the finals, I still think the biggest threat in the east is the Celtics, although not by much. So it's all about Boogie, and what they might still do in January with their roster. Oh, and when Patty McClaw will finally break down and show up for work... ;-)

Steph is def a momentum guy, Klay is as well on the offensive side though he usually brings it on defense.. this is why they went out and got KD. For when Steph gets pushed around, pouts and drags his ass on D. KD is there to be a bellweather through adversity. I agree that McKinnie should've played more, but #1 thing is Kerr had to run more set plays to build momentum. It's easy to let the chef cook when things are easy but when it gets hard you have to run those plays as a fall back. Too often it feels like they are just improvising out there instead of running plays to open things up for Steph and Klay to get a rhythm

Andre Lazar

They punished us inside with our sophomore centers. Boogie will be what makes the difference against the Raptors. Let's pray for his health.

Nathan Glanzer

Think I agree with you, let him dance and challenge them back

Athletic Alchemy

facts...imagine if you went all out super low bowl

Athletic Alchemy

hmmm wasn't thinking about the tv part, but you are right that matters to these guys. I guess maybe the way they see it, they are national every week.

Athletic Alchemy

agreed

Athletic Alchemy

Going away from Stephen when he's cold/being overplayed by the defense isn't the way to go @Kerr. They should put the ball in his hands, let him make decisions, run a few pick and roll with KD, and that way he'll get in rhythm. KD ain't gonna erase an 18 point deficit by chucking midrangers and dunks.

Typical Warriors game against a big opponent. No doubt they bounce back I just feel bad for the fans who paid to watch that.

Tre

It's concerning that the Warriors regularly disappear on national TV games at home... They've lost to MIL, OKC and TOR now. Not particularly a good sign

Raptors with kawhi or not, Warriors was suppose to make a statement, and they blew it...
