That game against Houston just ended. I have to say, I'm glad they lost this one. There's no reason they should have won this game after losing that 20 point lead, and that crazy scramble where Durant was clearly out of bounds. Harden played great, and that last 3 of his was clearly a 4 point shot. If that had happened to Curry, I would have wanted that to be a 4 point play. And I'd be so mad if the opposition didn't get the turnover for such an obvious out of bounds. Might be a Warriors fan, but if the other team is playing better, gotta give them props.

In your pregame video you mentioned that Draymond needs an off-season to work on his shooting.
Could you elaborate on that? Is it because of how time-consuming it is to change one's shooting form or something else? Also could you give some examples of which skills (maybe dribbling, defensive stance) can be easily improved. Thanks.

I’m not sure. Being a one man show, I have to fit it between Warriors games.

Your commentary is always off the chain bro! When you said that Bell might be "stretching his hands at night", I nearly fell off the sofa!

AA Do you remember Nate Robinson? When I watched him in the seats at Oracle you could easily see he was playing for the crowd, not to win. Flash was first order, Bell reminds me of him the way he plays, and how he acts on the bench. He is thinking how he looks when he plays, trying to get on the highlight shows. Last night he was playing to play, to win, who cares what it looks like. You said "maybe his best game" I'd argue it might have been better than almost any 3 of his games.

Right I’m not saying bring Za back. But his impact in third first 5 min of each half was subtle. He made guys uncomfortable in the paint.

Yo Alc! Great video, great pointing out how Dray is so effective on defense. Looking forward to seeing what 2019 has in store for you, and in turn us patrons.

I think fan get that Zaza was a tank when it comes to boxing out and setting screens, Zaza would clear out the other teams best defender, alowing dray to yank off the glass and push and playmake in the transition. And his screens for our shooters was the equilivent to an assist. Plus he was an above average passer. We get that however every other measurable you have for a basketball player, Zaza was teriable and when it matters most, i.e. the playoffs he couldn't even hang, We need a tru center, vertical spacer who runs the floor, and can rim protect, DJ was by no means perfect but he did that for us, we need Robin Lopez or Deadmon or someone along those play that roll for us. we gonna need more than one real center in the playoffs / finals...we need one more in addition to Boggie

Well if you look at what Zubac and Nurk did to us there are plenty of nights we need a big body. No one really knows what Boogie is going to look like and he is not exactly know as a defender anyway.

Rumors are we are looking to get a center. I guess to replace Jones. But why? Hampton's Five, Death Lineup.

True the scouting report is take away his mid range J. I just think Loon has got somewhat complacent defensively. Almost like his agent told him. Everyone knows you can defend focus on offenses and staying on the floor.

Thats a great breakdown. They have put him in the post the last 2 or 3 and it was defiantly most effective against the young suns. But the concept is solid. Invert the spacing and it also generates more 3 s..two birds..For someone like him who really struggles to get the ball up the shorter distance in the corner is all the difference in the world.

Dray is the problem with our half-court offense, however this game gave me so much hope, as in my opinion the problem is solved. Dray at that the top with a defender giving him 10+ feet, mucking up the spacing, which changes the way Klay is guarded = trash. Having dray playmake from the post while a defender is on his back, makes it way harder for guys to disrespect him, setting picks from the post, then dive or slip to a corner off the ball, corner 3's, I can live with that. 99% of boogie "practice" highlights are of him shooting 3's as the formula will be Boogie up top in the old draymond half court role, setting screens for shooter, popping to space, or rolling, playmaking etc., he is gonna get wide open looks and show how you can stack up assit pasing to KD,Klay,SC30 with our selfless system.
All Dray has to do from now to post season is get healthy and put up 100 shots a day at each corner. Somebody needs to tell him, 100 shots a day in each corner or you could cost yourself 100M. If he did that, the muscle memory alone would have him 37.5% from corners and 20% everywhere else beyond the arch, that’s not asking too much from someone looking to make 100M+$.
-playmaker from the post
-stretch the floor via the corners
-play the best d you can, despite your atheltic and size limitations.
-push off the glass / play make in transition
-no more t's / resolve to never again call a teamate, the worst thing you can call a Man all while saying “We don’t need you. We won without you. Leave,”, when you the one who can't hit the back side of a barn messing up the spacing that negativley effecting the entire offence.
='s the formula for Dray to redeem himself this season, up his trade value, and get paid by some team foolish enough to think Dray is a such a great playmaker he's the glue vs. surrounded by great shooter who move extremely well off the ball in a system designed to get them open in space (passing them the ball is easiest part). Boogie is going to average 7 assist a game just for that reason. #We3peating
regardless of Draymond antics, with these adjustments he wont cost us another ship like he did in 2016.

The way Looney was guarding Warren suggests to me that the coaching strategy was not to let him shoot the ball. And as you know sometimes when you have your hands up, the center of gravity is higher therefore more flat footed which makes it harder to slide east-to-west. I need to go back and re-watch to see if Ron Adam made any defensive adjustments. But good call out!

As much as I hate his flops, you can't deny he has been the best player this month. Just straightup dominance.

Liked how Iguodala and Bell played this game.
Every time Warriors ran the few PnR they did, they crushed the Suns. People have noted Steph's stats are much lower against the top 10 defensive teams and it's precisely because running around and creating misdirections, especially with poor screeners, isn't going to generate many good looks against such teams. It's just too predictable now. Against the top teams this is where Kerr needs to stop being stubborn and run the ball more to Curry/ KD / Dray PnR. New year's wish is for the Warriors to get back their off ball movement and not being last place in PnR ran. Need to see this for the Rockets game coming up.
