I thought what Kerr did to Bell was unprofessional. You know Bell is frustrated. He has actually been playing well recently and Kerr still only gives him nothing but garbage time minutes. Totally unprofessional to go off on him like that. He knew damn well all those cameras were there. The game was literally a scrimmage. Gotta remember as well that Bell is from Long Beach so he probably had a ton of family and friends at the game. I don't understand what Kerr has against Bell but he needs to make it work bc GSW is a team starving for young talent right now. Damian Jones was horrible but he could do no wrong in Kerr's eyes. Kerr praised him after every game even though he was trash. And even when Jones went down, Kerr still didn't play Bell. Bell must be sick of his crap. If Bell goes the same way of Mccaw , that is gonna be a terrible look for the organization. Mccaw essentially chose unemployment over playing for Kerr lol. Kerr needs to be able to get these young kids to buy in. Can't treat them like they're garbage.

Wow, that line up was A W E S O M E

Its all prospective. I don't see it that much. I think 1. they have been a very disappointing playoff team. and 2 they are technically not an American team.

a non warriors question but why do many nba fans tend to dislike the toronto raptors so much when i find teams like boston ,philly and houston way more dislikable?

Yeah he looked very fluid. Maybe there will be more garbage time now and he can show out. Not sure how many meaningful minutes he will get.

Athletic Alchemy

Did you catch the Jordan Bell turnaround jumper towards the end? I was in awe

Terrel Edmondson

And in that same period Curry has had 38 assists and 11 turnovers, while KD has had 31 assists and 18 turnovers. That's an aspect of his small-man play fixation, or perhaps his attempt at being more Bron-like in his overall skill set, trying to be more of a playmaker as a passer, but an A2TO ratio of less than 2-to-1 isn't that great. Still, that's better than his career averages, largely because he's at a career-high in assists this year. Steph's actually at career lows in both categories, if you eliminate his injury-riddled 11-12 season, which speaks to his reborn focus on scoring and perhaps also a little maturing as a passer. I kind of wonder how many good teams with an established starting lineup have had their top two assist guys being the starting forwards, if any; it's possible that Boogie could actually make the top three the starting frontcourt.

Great to see the Boogie man out there.

Now that it finally happened, i really see how unfair this is..

Kevin Vestergaard

Worst part is he is actually accurate as he shoots it straight. He just need to put more air under it and follow through with a back peddle so the ball drops from its apex. He 100% shoots like there is a bag pack on his back, however those 2 simply fixes would help his shot so much. And we all know if Dray can shoot the 3 at 40% we as a unit become unstoppable.

1) Steph is a good screner because of his gravity. He can literlly nudge/brush up againts you with the tip of his shoulder, sprint away from the play, and the defender follows bcause of the offensive threat that he is as he is so skilled. 2) straight up and down, real talk, Zaza is basically trash at eveything but screening and boxing out (yeah he is an above average passer), but that got him signed before Javel M last year as he is such a good screener/box outer/tank, and that is so vital to what we do. 1 & 2 alone, as it pertains to Boogie, its just scarry. Coupled by the fact that, if you play H.O.R.S.E with dude (Boogie), and let him measure shots behind the arch, they going down at a very high 40%+ clip. KD,SC30, and Klay's gravaty is gonna let dude score 3's at at 40+ plus clip from behind the arch, that just means so much for our offence. I love that physically Boggie is at a good place pre All Star Break. from now till All star break we can figure out exactly what it is we want to do on both ends on the court, via trial and error. Post All-star break, implement the elements we like best. I don't personally believe Dub Nation as a whole understands how ridiculous Harden and the refs are, or how many athletes OKC and TOR has. This season, without Boggie is not a "wrap/done deal." IMO. However, its on us now, only thing that can stop us is us, as we are currently truly in a position to 3 peat and I'm loving it.

That was suppose to be Mcaw, but turns out dude is an idiot

Unless he pulls that mid range jumper confidently whenever he does get playing time WITH the normal rotation, then sure he can play SF, but he is a PF naturally. I don’t envision him playing much regardless and especially if we pick up another big in the buyout

Watching Dray shoot 3s is visually offensive...Also expect him to have a bad game tomorrow, after the game he posted a story on Instagram of him in the club partying lol !

SunniDaZambi

Great analysis as always Alch. Boogie isn't as bad as I thought defensively. Thank the lord we have another decent screener for Klay and Steph. His shooting form is solid, jumps are always consistent because he's already a 7 footer. Too bad refs were on cockblock mode yesterday. Speaking of cock blocking... another frustrating game to watch where Steph is utterly disrespected by the refs. This freedom of movement concept is complete bullshit. If you couldn't grab his jerseys, he'd have the split second he needs to generate clean 3s. Probably average 35 points a game if the refs weren't trying to limit him.

Paradox

From that angled spot on the 3pt line that Boogie likes to shoot it, he was 40% on 3's last year. That would make him the 2nd best 3pt shooter on the team right now. He is most likely an even better shooter now, bc you know that all he was physically able to do for months in his rehab was shoot. He is an elite player. When you see him play, you realize all the things we were missing. He makes us better at everything. He moves people inside like they're on skates. Power rebounder. Alters shots. Intimidating paint presence. His screens are phenomenal. He makes us a better shooting and passing team. Gets to the FT line. Unguardable one on one. He is hustling. He was hacked multiple times last night without getting the call and he kept his cool. BTW, last 6 games, Draymond has 60 assists and 7 turnovers with a cumulative plus minus of +126.

fitz was funny as hell last night, Klay def getting a high of these dunks and them JB jumpers!!! cant wait to see boogie play more

Tony Stark

haha I remember Doc with his high knee bend

Athletic Alchemy

of course!

Athletic Alchemy

yeah got to be careful to not let them snowball with it.

Athletic Alchemy

Boogie being short wired does have to scare other bigs, it's just like Ryan or Gibson used to throw heat and often inside so be ready but watch for one in the ear. I like how he instinctively puts his body immediately on the other bigs when the ball goes up. Only Green does that of our bigs. Loon is getting much better at that too, but Boogie is just so damn heavy. Bell is shooting that J like Doc used to in the 80's, they had to back off him and he just stuck 16 footers whenever he wanted to.

Russ

Half their roster never makes it through a season.

Athletic Alchemy

Thanks! I put a short recap up on youtube just now.

Athletic Alchemy

I smiled all throughout this video. So happy for him.

thank for your insight Alchemy

Couldnt have had a more perfect exit in classic Boogie-fashion to a game than fouling out. It would have been even more hilarious if he got tossed for some bullshit. That young white ref with the slicked hair....I HATE that dude. Every time he refs a Warriors game, its like he has some personal vendetta against every single one of the players. Regardless though, Montrez Harrell, the 2018-2019 Warrior Killer had a massively different approach to his game when he was up against Boogie. Now I even doubt how good the dude is. He can own Looney all day cuz hes bigger and stronger. But when a 60% healthy Cousins was guarding him, the dude was chillin with a grand total of zero points and 2 rebounds. The new dynamic that Boogie gives the team is incredible. Klay was off, KD was okay, and Steph, despite dropping 28, was also kind of off, and they won by nearly 20. Man the last 35 games of this season are going to be so fun to watch the offense grow. Still gotta work on guarding the 3 better. But my dude Edward Zeng pointed it out. The last few games, Jordan Bell looking smooth out there with the jumpers! My 2 biggest concerns with Boogie addition: 1) Draymond and him on the court together and complaining about foul calls. If they arent careful, they'll be racking up a ton of unnecessary tech's, and 4-5 fouls before the 4th quarter and that'll be extremely important come April. Really hoping we dont get into the "almost suspension" amount of techs. and 2) When Boogie sits, sure Looney and Bell are decent back ups for a few minutes, but we still are severely lacking any height/length inside the paint. We still need a back up big. A true big. Im hoping we release Derrickson and get Lopez. He'd be a beautiful big man off the bench interchanging with Looney. That way, Bell can move to the 4 with his new and improved jumper!

Jansen E

Jordan Bell looking nice in garbage time lol

Edward Zeng

what is GT?

YANCEY WADE

i thought it was crackup how the commentators had this theme going with Gallinari "the best ability is availability" then the dude has back spasms, and then just never touch that subject again. #jinxedaf

Warriors need an iggy replacement, he’s mid 30s.

Fuq yu

Good that you showed the one, but JB hit three jumpers in a row in GT and that was very encouraging, the form and the confidence. Of course his problem is he's now no higher than the third option at both the four and the five with the Boogie business. That's one new aspect right now, the sudden sense of real depth, with Boogie, Loon now bench strength (his natural role), Iggy doing his successful Ponce de León thing, I think Dot also invigorated, there's still YoJo and Alfo, so you have guys like JB and Cook outside the top ten. The picture looks very nice right now, and we can stop thinking about needing to make a buyout desperation move for a big, rather that kind of move can be more long-term strategic, maybe add wing depth if anything. Really sucks that the league office ruled as expected on the Cleveland thing tho. One trivia question about the Clips - have Gortat or Marjanovic ever committed a foul with their noses? Oh, and I would say that was more of a Dray-Dre blend response on the 3rd Boog foul - Dray leads with the lip, while Dre does those "who, me??" hands...

Great video Alch! You should make this one available on your YouTube channel and make sure it gets posted on Reddit. Would be great exposure for you!

Dan C

So now that the Warriors have a legit big that can do it all do you think that jordan bell is gonna developed into a regular small forward. I think him becoming a 3 would help the minutes of the big 5 and develope his overall game.

Sully

We got a fucking squad.

Very surprised by Boogie’s debut! He did nearly everything we hoped for! Anyone know why he didn’t go to the post much?

boogie was super impressive

foreal!

Athletic Alchemy

Athletic Alchemy

I’m trying to watch and it keeps black screening me.
