definitely some nerves. It has taken Amya a few seasons to let it fly. The key is the foot work when he catches it. just keep getting reps of him stepping into the catch and shooting to build that muscle memory. I will work some of those drills into a vlog for you.

Thanks Alch my son will be starting his second year of basketball in October and he’s only 9 but he’s terrified to shoot because of his shot and his coach really hammers on them to only go for lay ups. I do my best to do shooting excercises with him and he does well but I don’t know if it’s playing front of crowd or nerves that take away his willingness to shoot in an actual game. Any feedback would be appreciated.

yup! Havent really tested what I can still do above the rim the last 2 years or so, I feel good tho! Ill get a some better angled footage when I try to really get up.

Definitely working on getting better footage. Got to get in there when there is less people do I can use a tripod. Might just have to go to a park for better lighting

Maybe put the camera up higher so we can better see depth. And you should try to sell your lessons to coaches somehow. I was a part time coach at a grade school when I was playing high school ball and could have really used these videos.

Awesome content, definetely will be using the reverse-pivot moves with my own team from a coaching stand point. Simple and effective moves that everybody can learn. Keep the gym vids coming

Yeah they are dope! I don’t have the resources yet to rent out gym time and have a full setup. But I’m drop some real gems as I polish the production part of it over the summer.
