2019-01-31 20:34:37 +0000 UTCHey Alch, I'm really excited for this game in particular and I had a few tidbits/ questions I wanted to share: Obviously the sample size is extremely small, but Demarcus Cousins this year so far (based on his per 36 numbers) is averaging 25.1/11.6/5.9 with 60.2 TS%. Last year for the Pelicans, Cousins averaged 25.1/12.8/5.3 with 58.3 TS%. Clearly he is still lacking in a few places with the eye test, he's fouling a lot and at times looks unconfident, but his production, in a statistical manner, hasn't dropped off much. Of our past 11 wins (longest streak in the NBA this year by any team), 8 of them have come on the road which is really encouraging, and our margin of victory during the streak is 18.6 points, which is wild. Kevon is looking really good on the bench. Some were concerned that he was looking better than the extent of his talents because he was playing next to all-stars but he had a career high against the Pacers in our last game on 7-8 shooting. I’m excited for this game because in terms of star power the Sixers could be the second best team in the league. Jimmy, Embiid and Simmons are all All-Star caliber players and it will be really fun to watch them match up with the dubs.
