He looked to have a very solid frame. But 6 10 to a legit 7 2', I wouldn't call it comparable size...but that's subjective.

You gotta do more of these player breakdowns, Alch. I think that kind of content--a wider focus on more players and more teams--would really help your growth. I love the Warriors focus, don't get me wrong. They're my team. But this video, the Harden rules, etc., really show how your content can be superior to LeBronSPN and LakersS1.
This was excellent, by the way. Seriously, really interesting breakdown.

Bob Lanier had touch and was of comparable size although not the range of Joel but better range than Shaw.

Yao Ming could have been top 20 player if he could stay healthy. I've never seen a guy bully Shaq like that. Had immense skills as a center. Also there's that whole controversy about Yao not getting the calls he deserved after Cuban complained to the nba office which may have cost the Rockets a championship.

In terms of the shooting stroke, I think you forgot Yao. Joel is still the better athlete, but I'd trust Yao more for a jumper.

Rondo bailed them out. Cool moment for him in that arena. Dub as in W. Marin county out there by the beach? Love that area.

.... I would keep Klay over Greene. Especially since Klay seems to be improving his game, especially around the basket. Would not like to see the Splash Brothers parted. But I did appreciate your comment (I think it was yours) that Pop considers Draymond the heart of the team, with his energy and passion ... his "intangible" contributions. Anyway, thanks again for the top quality -- and length! -- of your commentaries. Becoming a patreon of Alchemy has doubled my enjoyment this year.

Agree that TS% should be used if we're talking about advanced stats. Also, don't know if this is easily changeable, but at 3:00 mark the slide misspells the word "goal" (has "gold").

I want to get better with the numbers and analytics. I will always at heart be a “feel” guy but I may lean on you moving forward with some of these numbers. TS% does look like the Superior stat, I’m use that moving forward. If Wilt really has the kind of body count, he had to have been a extrovert.

I agree with Dave and Josh. Top quality in every way. Well chosen topic. Very informative. Superbly produced. Thanks for increasing my love of the game. The more I learn, the more I appreciate. And where do I go to learn? Alchemy all the way. And how about that Celtics-Lakers game the other night? Whew! Talk about exciting. Could have gone either way, right to that climactic ending. Living in Salem, Mass., I am of course a Celtics fan, even though I'm also a Dub lover. By the way ... where did that word Dub come from? Am still curious about that. I was born just north of San Francisco, so indeed exciting to see the Warriors become the champs that they are. What a wild ride. Got to see Bird play in Boston a few times. Now my still lingering love for him is equaled only by the excitement of watching Curry. In response to your recent question ... I

eFG% is much better than FG%, but it's still quite worse than TS% which takes FT% into account. Although Embiid looks much worse in eFG%, their TS% (comparing Shaq's Lakers prime) is very very similar - 57-59% TS. That's because Shaq was so bad at free throw shooting it really hurt his overall points per possession. Fun fact: Shaq could have a 100% FT percentage and his TS% would still be less than peak Curry's.
You make a great point about how rare it is to have extroverted centers in the NBA. I think you can include Boogie in the conversation as well, though he's not as comfortable on camera as the other two imo. It's like Shaq and Embiid decided to be the class clown to fit in. Wilt Chamberlain is in that category as well, he had a very extroverted personality (though a lot of introverted traits as well).
