He's been missing easy layups all season, even when he started out hot like 70% TS. There was a short stretch of time when he was making really hard layups though, it all depends on rhythm. I don't think he can attack the paint as much now because there are two post players clogging the lanr.

That’s a good point. But I feel like I have seen him just flat out lose grip several times in them. I know there are some clips in some older breakdowns. But your right the lack of ankle mobility would give him less balance.

You mentioned Steph missing layups lately. I think it's because it's the end of the year and in the back of Steph's mind is any fluke injury, like rolling an ankle on a routine layup. Going for a three peat, the stakes are high.

I have a feeling that Steph's slipping is not the shoes, but his ankle braces. Both times its happened, he hit the side of his shoe as if his ankle was twisted inward. My guess is that extra quarter inch of restriction makes his foot twist inward slightly.

Biggest surprise for me has been Cousins' decision making. He always makes the right decision with the ball and is never reluctant to give it up. This is uncommon for a dude who's unguardable one on one.

The big man with clever finishes around the basket with plenty of English was one Victor Alexander. Big Vic played for the Warriors and in the NBA for 6 seasons.

uncle Alch, do you just freestyle over these cuts or you have some lines ready? Because some of these one-liners are fire! e.g. Bogut joining the mile high club with the standing Oooooooooooooo

AA watch your Video at the 6:34 mark. Jonus is straight up elbowing the guy with repeated shots to the Kidney, I like his nasty streak. Bogut will push Boogie for the rest of the year just by signing. And Boogie will play tougher on D as he gets healthier and he doesn't want to get pulled for Bogut or Looney with $ on the line for next year. KD is conserving for the playoff run, you can see it.

this team, the one that played tonight is what makes watching basketball extremely enjoyable. when everyone on the team contributes in all stats and phases of the game. That was fun to watch. As great as the dubs offense has been the last 5-6 years, this team was always way more fun to watch when their D was on point because of what it does to everyone offensively. been waiting all year for a game like this.

Interesting you touched on Tyreke as I remember during the summer, a lot of us were like "Oh man, Tyreke would be a good piece off the bench" despite it was probably a pipe dream since we had to hope he wanted to ring chase. I then remember his brother came out with a statement like "Yea, if Tyreke wants to ring chase, he'd be with Warriors but it's more than that." Basically I thought it was a long-winded way of saying he wanted to pad stats on a 1-yr prove-it deal to secure a multiyr deal this summer. But it's like you said, this guy hasn't been the consummate professional (ie being late to practice) so I kinda doubt teams wanna commit multiyrs to him.

This makes me think about something you said in the last breakdown, about how teams no longer fear the Warriors. Two blowouts in a row, the first one minus KD and the Chef only dropping 15 in the second? Time for the league to remember why they are back to back champs.

They should sit Steph at least once before playoffs. Hopefully Denver loses some more games and we secure that 1 spot. If the clippers remain at the 8 spot then I'd much rather play them than Utah or OKC.

Loved those blocks from KD and the whole effort from the team. The bench did their job and i'm really srating to get excited about seeing what Boogie can do in the playoffs for us. Also good to see none of the KD free agency nonsense and the entire team standing behind him.
