The Playoffs are a War of Attrition, and despite that, it's still deflating to see Klay and KD go down all because they were willing to compete with their brothers. Joe Lacob needs to build statues for Klay and KD ASAP bc I'm already annoyed for how the front office handled these injuries. The one positive from all the bullshit we've seen from this situation is that it most likely made the brotherhood stronger. To the point that KD is probably staying long term. But who know, KD's more than deserved the right to do what he wants to do. I'm greatful that the Warriors competed until the very end. Some people might still be mad at how they competed in game 4, but the better team was left standing at the end of the War, and Toronto deserved to win. Even if the players and their fans have been doing some slick shit for years. The Raptors came and took the crown, and now is the time to take it back. If the Warriors want to truly be the modern day Spurs, the time is now to see if they'll reach they're ideal goal. Appreciate you AA for all the hard work you've been doing for the past 3 years.

William Mitchell

Keep up the good work Bro , exceptional season from the dubs , but the NBA is becoming less and less fun since officiationg is affecting the game more and more, Hopefully next season it changes a bit and we see a fun regular season.

I think you all would have won decisively.. both CP and Harden would have been completely spent had they advanced another month into the playoffs. That style has never won. Plus stylistically the length and team defense would have really been tough for their other guys to shoot well from 3.

Athletic Alchemy

I’m a raptors fan and recently subscribed because I was really impressed by your analysis and view upon your team as well as ours. No doubt with a healthy team you would have been nba champions again. One thing I was arguing with my houston supporting mates is whether they would have beaten Toronto they’re convinced they would’ve just wanted to get your opinion

It took me 4 days to watch this... like you, I was hurting. Not necessarily because we lost, but cuz how we lost. Losing Klay was by far the bigger blow. Klay has been my guy every time I ask, "Who's your favorite Warrior?" We have been hella spoiled these last 5 years. I agree, it has been the cherry on top as far as being a Warriors fan. I came to a point, a couple days later, I told myself, "I endured 40 years of either falling short, or falling hard." Year after year, I still cheered for them and loved them. When they started this run, it validated everything I've loved about them. I'm sure they can do it again someday. Meanwhile, it is time to get back down to the core of what it means to be a fan of the Warriors,--the talent, the players, and the love of the Bay. We can do this, the Dubs ain't going nowhere, and have nowhere to go but back up again! Thank you for all your hard work and your breakdowns. I look forward to your future content! Stay Strong!

Mitch Moyers

couldn't bring myself to watch this until now...

Had to take a few days off to watch this . Still made me cry

much love alch. incredible season for them. 5 finals appearances is HUGE. grats to the raps. they straight scrapped and took over. but this was also an emotional coaster for the warriors team. when i saw how much pain thompson was in i teared up (on an airplane with 2 other people watching on my phone). its going to be a very interesting off season but i think these dudes need to just be happy and recuperate emotionally. its going to be a totally different look next season and itll hit both fans an players on that first "home" game in SF..how long is it gonna take till it feels like home?

Chris Williams

Thats humbling Michael...Thank you!

Athletic Alchemy

Thank you Brother!

Athletic Alchemy

Thanks Ezra.. No doubt I will have all sorts of coverage and takes through out off season on what I think we should do.

Athletic Alchemy

Thank you Dan! Its been a such emotional journey and learning process this season.

Athletic Alchemy

Exactly "Our strengths are our weakness"

Athletic Alchemy

Much love! Thank you for the support!

Athletic Alchemy

Thank you Alon!

Athletic Alchemy

thanks..we will...we will

Athletic Alchemy

Hell of a season, and Alch's breakdowns made the year more enjoyable. Congrats to the Raptors!

Bro after the game, your video is the only NBA related content I have watched, and prob will not watch any other NBA news till next year when we kick off. Only nba bids I will check is your stuff. Thanks for the great content over the year.

Always the man who keeps it 💯. Alch you a real one, I for one will always rock with you. Much love from the Bay. One thing we know here is you support your brothers and keep faith. It's been a hell of a run and we aren't done yet! 😤

Andre Lazar

Clearly the Dubs are much better with KD, that being said, if the Warriors were hitting on all cylinders without KD they could have beaten Toronto. (They had a chance to win if Clay had not gone down.) Attrition was our biggest challenge this season. When you consider that whole league has worked on solving how to defeat the Warriors . . . It’s amazing we’ve been this successful. The big question is, how do we continue to build on our success moving forward?

Kitwana Tyhimba

..."losing Klay is worse than losing the finals." -- my feelings exactly

DaniellieeE

👀 👀

DaniellieeE

They didn't know it was an ACL at the time. Klay was on adrenaline so of course he also underestimated the extent of his injury.

Paradox

Like everyone else here I want to to thank you for all the breakdowns this season and the amount of work you put into this, your videos kept me going through some tough times. I don't even want to talk about this game, losing Klay is worse than losing the finals. I would love to see a video on your takes on what could possibly happen to the team in free agency and what moves you think Lacob & Myers are going to do.

Ezra Abbey

Thanks for the season and everything uncle alch! Best NBA analyst in the world! I don't know if this is a hot take but I think that 'big move' could be firing Steve Kerr. He is a great coach but his strategy has been figured out, he is too conservative and stubborn at times and he needs to be held a great responsibility for overplaying KD too early in the playoffs.

Kevin Chan

So REAL, Alch. You have been with us for EVERY high and low this season. And both were the MAX. intensity. Seeing our BOYS go down so much more painful that losing to LBJ and Kyrie. We survived that and will continue to thrive, in whatever form. This platform of yours is such a unique opportunity to contemplate a major human art form. You are an artist of phrase and psychology. And an awesome DUDE. OUT...

Dan Doerge

ironically the main criticism of Curry is another side of the same coin that has led us to 3 titles, he is so unbelievably unselfish that sometimes he can be way too unselfish. Also holy s*** Klay is toughest player i have ever seen play the game, i mean he was going back to play defense on a torn ACL, ARE YOU KIDDING ME!? win or lose into the future i cant be more proud of this team.

KuraiT

Alch, I just gotta be honest, I think GSW's training/medical staff is gonna get a ton of heat for playing Klay after his hamstring injury. Hamstrings are no joke. They take forever to rehab and if you try to come back early, there's a very high reinjury rate. Any trainer knows that the hamstrings and ACL are directly related. If the hamstring is weak, the ACL is unprotected and vulnerable to injury and the entire knee is unstable. I don't think it was unreasonable at all to play KD but it may have been reckless to play Klay. Like u always say man, Klay is a dude you gotta protect from himself. He's never gonna tell u that he can't play. Dude could get shot and he'd try to walk it off and play.

I will always be supporting GSW and you Alc, but I think you should consider going for a 100k youtuber. No doubt you can.

At some point, dub fans have to just admit that the Raptors are a MUCH better team than the Dubs minus KD. It just is what it it is. Steph played as well as he could considering his limitations which the ENTIRE NBA has now figured out. They ALL know that the way to shut down Steph --- when KD is not on the court --- is to task 2 or 3 guys with chasing Steph all over the court and hanging all over him, often and OBVIOUSLY holding onto his arms, back, and jersey as often as the refs allow it. And, CLEARLY, this year, the league instructed their refs to allow it. I would LOVE to see Alchemy do a video dedicated to how and WHY --- whenever KD was not on the court --- opposing teams were able to wear Steph down by the end of the 4th quarter. This frees up Klay to be the EXPERT MARKSMEN he was born to be. But when Klay is the ONLY offensive threat on the floor, the DUBs have NO chance to win a NBA championship.

Raymond M. Wood

Thank you Alchemy for everything that you do. Kept clicking the Love button on the Vid until my finger went numb. Your context is great in the high moments , but it's vital on the lows! This might have been your best work yet. Dub nation and uncle Alchemy all the way! Let's Go!

Alon Altman

That’s OG status right there. More importantly the prospective to understand and appreciate this run. Appreciate the support Kitwana!

Athletic Alchemy

Alch, I’m going to continue to ride with you 💙⚡️💙⚡️💙⚡️! I was raised in the Bay. I was a kid when Rick Barry won the first chip in the Town. We know how to ride with a team . . . The Raiders, A’s , Seals and Warriors! I remember when people went to Warriors’ games to see Kareem, Byrd, Kobe or Jordan. I appreciate your insight and perspective ✨ Don’t stop good brother ✨💙⚡️💙⚡️💙❗️

Kitwana Tyhimba

I think your right... Klay was headed towards claiming FMVP... and it would have been the right call.

Athletic Alchemy

Absolutely!

Athletic Alchemy

Appreciate ya TS

Athletic Alchemy

💯🙏🏽

Athletic Alchemy

Thank you Nicholas! I hadn’t thought about that yet. Opportunity to do some real developing... wonder if they bring Bell back? Doubt it, if Kerr has any say.

Athletic Alchemy

💯 That’s the double edge sword of greatness. They have us believing even when we logically shouldn’t. Well worth it tho

Athletic Alchemy

That’s real! As ugly as it was we were kinda due for this. With all that noise out there I appreciate that you chose to check out my stuff...thank you!

Athletic Alchemy

Thank you man! I’m right with you it wasn’t the loss that hurt nearly as bad. Draymond May have to be sacrificed for depth and youth. Ironically, I think KD’s decision will play a big part in Draymond’s future with the team.

Athletic Alchemy

Thanks for everything this season Uncle Alch! I really couldn't shed any tears as it happened although as I heard the passion and I could see how deeply it affected you I couldn't hold back the tears! Next year is gonna be tough for these fair weather fans...Diehards gonna stay steady this is nowhere near as bad as those 17 win seasons! As much as I appreciate everything Curry has brought to our Franchise and culture we really needed him to be more aggressive! Say Klay doesn't go down and we get GM6 and somehow win GM7 Klay was gonna get FMVP...just a theory It's gonna be a long grueling season and Curry has a lot to prove or even just redeem himself...!!!

Terrell Foster

Hey Alchemy, first time posting but proud patron here. Love the honest breakdowns, all the coverage. You’re tailor made for this— a true professional. Also a hell of a filmmaker (those cinematic pieces are phenomenal). Thoughts on the talk of a potential end of our dynasty: Feelin positive. We still got the Chef. The engine, the soul. Klay will be back, and I feel that those two in the backcourt will keep that title threat run goin no matter who we sign. Way I see it, what hungry star wouldn’t be tempted to pair up with them even years down the line? My only concern is Draymond, who’s productivity seems like it’d be limited sooner the way his game is. Of course, IF he stays. Anyway. I been emotional as well here after the injuries (less the loss, although that hurts like hell haha). But it’s been great having you sum up what we all been trying to put into words. Keep it up. Rockin with you next season.

Ko Keechul

We were outscored in most quarters. Now granted outside of game 6 the refs were one sided imo which made things even worse. I think the guy that needs to go is Livingston. Love the dude but it's time to retire and enjoy life. Draymond and Iguodala need to practice 3s all summer. Draymond especially. You can't just be left unguarded out there like that. Too many guys off the bench were timid... compare that to the Raptors like FVV and Ibaka. To compete, we need a stronger lineup.

Paradox

I pray to god Lacob does NOT do something drastic. It's just a down year. Please keep this team intact, don't trade away anyone. We could've still won g6 and g7 had Klay stayed health. Just let off the gas pedal for a year, missing out on playoffs might be a blessing in disguise after 5 straight years going to the finals and shortened off-season. Just ask LeBron....

Yep with the way this season :( ended Alchemy, feeling like you're our Dubs info lifeline LoL - will definitely be looking forward to your Warriors updates :) Please keep em coming

DaniellieeE

Alch deserves a bag :) the warriors need to tank for 1, 2, or maybe 3 seasons. the entire league has been after us for the past 5 years like some have mentioned & kerr's strats are widespread even into the college level. lets keep our core and whether or not dray improves his offense. we need to restructure ASAP and like Alch said fire the entire medical team

Fuq yu

Thank you for the season Alch! i wish you luck for the times ahead!

Tony Stark

We ain't goin anywhere Alch! We're ridin with ya

Thanks for the great content Alch. They had an inspiring effort these playoffs despite so much going wrong. So many moments they displayed why they have been to the finals five straight times. Maybe not next year, but i feel like we will be back.

Plissken

Alch, I appreciate you!! Been a great two years subscribing and I'm excited to follow along with you wherever the warriors go next season. I personally believe what Meyers and Lacob say about Klay and KD and they will still offer supermax, which is an offer other teams will struggle to meet given the injuries. And given the cap situation it's still one of the best things they can do. Hoping for the best of both worlds where this break gives a chance to our bench to develop waiting for the eventual return.

what makes me really appreciate the greatness of this team is even with klay and kd down, i legitimately till the final possession thought we were going to turn it around and win the series. we had no business in competing in this series as injured as we were, and it still came down to the final possession. absolute legends, can't wait to see what expectations we subvert next year.

Kyle Most

All the bad luck hit in the final series, but it's good to remember that the Dubs have been the beneficiaries of multiple injuries to opposing teams: in the '15 Finals, the Cavs were without Kyrie and Kevin Love. Kawhi got hurt in the series against the Spurs. Chris Paul out at the end of last year's series. No Nurkic with the Blazers this year. There are other examples, and although many of them would not have changed the eventual series outcome, but they might have made the path steeper and tipped the balance for a later series. Injuries are one reason I am not completely guilt-free watching games: I'm promoting a game that is brutal on the bodies of the athletes I admire. Anyway, Alc, thanks for the great breakdowns. There is so much commentary and noise out there about the games and the drama, but you always "keep it a buck", as you say, and gave a lot of enjoyment, win or lose.

Abe Tenley

You got my support thru the offseason Alch. Thanks for the amazing analysis and true fandom all year long

Warriors won't be a super team for a year at least but I think as long as Curry + ball movement is around, it'll be fun to watch. We'll see what the chef can cook up with the recruits Bob brings in.

Paradox

A startling reality check to how fragile everything in sports can be. In a weird way I am looking forward to not expecting to win. Thank you for your continued support.

Athletic Alchemy

TBH... lowkey Kerr is an egomaniac! At lest that’s how I read it. I think he is just smart enough to hide it by always being self defecating.

Athletic Alchemy

I think you might be right. I think it also depends on Kevin

Athletic Alchemy

💯

Athletic Alchemy

I don’t have any answers right now. As things unfold I will be here with all my takes.

Athletic Alchemy

Definitely most emotional I have gotten commentating!

Athletic Alchemy

Love your Warriors jersey. Great video, very emotional. Been feeling so sad with all these injuries. But know this is not the end. I'm looking forward to your updates and will be here supporting you. Thanks for all your great updates, always the best.

DaniellieeE

Haven’t heard that saying in a while... ain’t that the truth!

Athletic Alchemy

Absolutely! Thank you!

Athletic Alchemy

💯🙏🏽

Athletic Alchemy

Except to hear some wild rumors up into the draft. Lacob might do something drastic

Athletic Alchemy

🤜🏽

Athletic Alchemy

Kerr what get a ounce of blame considering the injuries. But I wasn’t a fan of the overall strategy.

Athletic Alchemy

🙏🏽 well said! I wonder what the cap looks like if Andre does decide to hang them up.

Athletic Alchemy

All the support has been amazing man! Letting me know I’m on the right path. No doubt this offseason is going to crazy, plenty to cover! Thanks Spence!

Athletic Alchemy

💯

Athletic Alchemy

🙏🏽👌🏽 thank you!

Athletic Alchemy

Thank you for the support! I’m humbled and glad I can add to your experience watching the game.

Athletic Alchemy

Thank you brotha 🙏🏽

Athletic Alchemy

🙏🏽 Agreed ...it was meant too be

Athletic Alchemy

Hey, the "wasn't enough ISO" comment you made around 6:30: I was thinking that this whole series but didn't wanna say it out loud and sound stupid. But I've always wanted the Warriors to pull a D'Antoni/Harden package out of their bag. Can you imagine Steph ISOing with the floor spread and getting stepbacks and drawing fouls? I honestly think they should consider it as a new wrinkle next season (especially next season). Not the whole time, just use that shit now and again to freak out defenses. It seems they have a fucking motion offense IV drip in their veins the whole time.

Major Powers

You are Animal my friend! "King of crutches" so you think he was putting on a show after KD?

Athletic Alchemy

Alc. Thank you so much for the content! I’m sorry about all the injuries to the Warriors but I just think it was the Raptors’ year this season and I’m happy they finally have one. I can’t believe Klay walked back to shoot those free throws even on that ACL.

Your welcome, thank you for the support! From the top down. Lacob to Looney they are too competitive to go out like this.

Athletic Alchemy

no sir!

Athletic Alchemy

Appreciate ya!

Athletic Alchemy

Wow! Thank you man!

Athletic Alchemy

Great point Conrad...great point!

Athletic Alchemy

8 or 9!? make up your mind!

Athletic Alchemy

Hmmm by the actions of most their fans they've proven themselves to be trash

Athletic Alchemy

Alchemy thanks for all your hard work and dedication to not only the Warriors, but to the game of basketball. This season was a rollercoaster and last night was a culmination of everything you've been talking about. The Warriors fought through adversity and they have to be commended. Klay is the embodiment of a true Warrior. I think he will return stronger than ever. Looking forward to seeing the next chapter.

Thank you for this amazing season, Alch! I have learned so much about basketball especially from the players perspective. Your understanding of the game and the mental and emotional state of the players and your narratives have made this nba season the most entertaining and emotional season i have ever watched! I will be sticking with you for a long long time! Looking forward to your future videos!

THANK YOU Alch, although I don't have access to any of the 2 platfrom you current put videos on. I will continue support you for your hardwork and enthusiam torward the dubs and the videos. Keep up the good work! go Warriors!

That and if we made the free throws that we missed! Both fundamentals of the game that we must get better at going forward.

LOL. Thanks for that- I stopped feeling sad for a minute

Alchemy, don’t worry we ain’t going nowhere. We know how hard you work to provide us with AMAZING content. I believe this is just a test like you said. Good fortune will come our way and this is not the end for these Warriors.

Anthony

I support you dog

Antonio lee

I felt like you did, when I saw Klay go down I couldn't believe how bad these payoffs had gone, and when I saw him on crutches I wanted to just turn it off, because I knew how it would end. But what now? As you suggested, I could see GSW going full tank, given that KD is gone next year either way, Klay misses a half season at best, and my guess is they probably don't even make the playoffs, given the nature of the west. So do they create cap space by letting 35 and 11 go and then digging around below the A and A- level FAs? Do they resign Klay and KD if they can and then just tank? Do they wait until after FA settles and then look who needs a Draymond to make their title run and deal him for some youth or maybe picks, aiding the tanking? Or do they stay pat and hope they can rebound in 20-21 with a then slightly past-prime core? Can Andre be dealt to a contender for that one last year doing Iggy things for someone else and giving us some future back? The reality is with the current roster once you pull Steph and Dray out this is one of the worst rosters in the league and definitely not a playoff team, and Dray's real value is with good players around him and not waiver trash. And is Lacob going to be willing to put Steph and the seven dwarves on the court in their first year in SF, or is he going to roll the dice? With that Steph/Klay/Dray core it was always going to be playing with supporting cast, even without KD, but now Klay is largely subtracted and KD's absence next year is guaranteed, so the game has changed. Man, 11 months ago, after they signed Boogie, I would have never guessed there was any chance of this team being where it is today, simply dismantled by the whims of KD and the fickleness of fate. Steph squatting at the other end of the court staring at the floor while Klay was writhing in pain said it all, how could this be happening? And the one guy with a mountain on his back right now is Bob "crocodile tears" Meyers, the king of crutches who has seen it all turn to shit in his hands...

You're saying that after Klay was out that Steph should just go down swinging?? That's dumb. For what? Risk another injury? It was over. They were missing free throws. Not to mention the Raps ramped up their double/triple team efforts. No, this will not "forever stain his legacy", you DRAMA QUEEN. If I were him I would be ELATED that he has lost you as a fan.

Bailey

Alch, just checking in to say you're a true professional and you've done a lot for increasing my appreciation and understanding of the game of basketball and the team we love. We all know that we would have won no problem at full strength but that's way life is sometimes, victory and defeat go hand in hand. It's hard not to feel bitter about the way it ended with two great players being crippled and maybe never the same again, and I can't stand the hate I saw on comments on YouTube towards Cousins in particular not getting an "easy ring" while at the same time crowing about how Jeremy Lin got one by sitting on the bench. I respect the Raptors as a team but their fans? Not so much. Anyway, thanks again and props to you for even doing this video.

Neal X

Thank you so much Alchemy. NBA season wouldn’t be the same without your breakdowns. Good to know I wasn’t the only one feeling the same way this morning. As Draymond said: “this ain’t the end of us”

Just wanna say, it's been a great ride this season. There are always ups and downs, and we'll be back strong.

MQ

Looking forward to the off-season. I'll be right here watching your breakdowns Alc, not going anywhere #Dubs

Branden Edwards

Well said Ciara. When Klay went down, then came back, and we saw him running down the hallway.....I totally believed that Klay was coming back, and I thought we were going to win the game. Then so quickly they showed Klay on crutches and I felt the biggest sadness, I got up and walked away for like 3 or 4 minutes. Curry seemed so alone out there.

YANCEY WADE

We got this, Warriors in 9.

Major Powers

real shit at the end alc, you know we’ll keep rockin with you! bless up pimp!

I know it's not popular, but I think the Warriors would have won if Draymond didn't throw the ball away so many times.

YANCEY WADE

Alchemy, your raw honesty, raw emotion, understanding of basketball from a coaching a player perspective is what makes you special. Your deep understanding of human psychology is what separates your content and insights from all the other clickbait out there. I hope the Lord blesses you with a rich life, as you define rich. You made the Warriors journey even better.

YANCEY WADE

i totally agreed!!

weng

The only "silver lining" of this game was this: .....had Steph hit that shot, they wouldve gotten obliterated in game 7 anyway. No KD, no Klay, Looney literally dying with every additional minute played, and Iguodala giving every last bit of effort he could probably was spent after this game. Regarding the game.....sigh. Theres so much to say and so little to say at the same time. My worst nightmare came true. Kyle fucking Lowry wins a championship in Oracle. Geezus christ. The whistle did seem like it was against them again. Another silver lining I guess??? Now with possibly a whole year of no KD or Klay, maybe the league-wide agenda of being Anti-Warrior is finally fucking over. My god. The NBA literally did everything they could to tear down the Warriors the whole damn season and even then, they came with 15 seconds of forcing a game 7 in the Finals. That shows some true spirit and greatness. Iguodala. My goodness. Just putting everything on the line. The turnovers from Draymond and Steph were infuriating but I know they were making the right play (more or less) and just had bad chemistry with the bench dudes and just running on fumes and trying too hard. I take my hat off to Cousins. That dude is a beast of a player and has a huge heart. He was trying too hard to do too much sometimes too, but I couldnt be more thankful for that type of effort. Surrounded by 4 non shooters to start the 4th quarter, and he still somehow managed to keep the game close and have a big impact. I actually hope he stays. Earned massive amounts of respect from me. Draymond. Every ounce of effort was there. And like everyone else, sometimes too much and they were overzealous with passes and playmaking. But he hit some important shots and tried to inhale every rebound he could. He shouldnt get a max contract but he definitely deserves a bigtime payday. Klay...motherfucking Thompson. Never have I seen the true definition of "Warrior" more exemplified than that man. We were in full witness to "Game 6 Klay" once again. And not a single soul on this planet can convince me the Warriors lose this game if he doesnt go down. 30pts in under 30 minutes, 8/12 shooting. The dude was lights out and insane. Refusing to give up. Then tries to ignore the medical staff, coaching staff, and his teammates, hustles back on defense on a blown ACL. My god. I think he officially just stole "favorite player" of mine from Steph Curry. He better stay a Warrior forever. But speaking of Steph........... I think this game solidified the following argument and stance: the man is just not THAT guy in the Finals. I know he was drawing double and triple teams all night. Box and 1. Entire schemes and gameplans surround that dudes physical presence. He will always be immeasurably invaluable in that aspect. But seriously.......what the fuck was this game from him? Why was he not attacking EVERY SINGLE SECOND like Klay was? He was playing passive. He was hanging his head, moping, and playing lazy and loose as if it was the middle of the regular season. What the FUCK Curry????? This was a do or die game in a series for your legacy as a player, the last game ever at Oracle, your brothers in arms are laying EVERYTHING on the line for you..............and you only shoot 17 shots???????????? I love the man. But there were countless times where he had an open shot, and instead of being the greatest shooter to ever live, he would pull off some unnecessary dribble move right back into the trap or double team, then turn it over or give it up and let the possession die. That is NOT the Steph Curry that wins basketball games. If he had gone 8/27 from the field. I wouldve been okay. Shoot I wouldve been okay if he had gone 1/40. GO DOWN SWINGING. Especially after losing Klay, he let his emotions get the better of him and just refused to shoot after that. Minus free throws, he had a total of 2 pts the rest of the game after Klay went down. Thats just unnacceptable from a player of his caliber. Amazingly enough...he could learn something from James Harden. Stick to your speciality. Like you always say Alch, shooters shoot. And everyone (fans, teammates, staff, the goddamn city of Oakland) needed him to shoot more. And he just tapped out mentally. This will forever stain his legacy and rightfully so. I can never defend him after this until he wins a FMVP. Or at the very least, hits a game winning shot in some future Finals. I defended Curry for years and was first to deflect/justify/reason with any criticism. But after this.....I cant anymore. Youre not THAT guy Steph. And until you proven anyone wrong....youll never be that guy. Thank you for this season Alch. Couldnt have asked for a better man to go through this season with. Cant wait for next season already. We need to run this shit back. We are in desperate need for an athletic center. Doesnt even need to be a scoring threat. But this series really showed how much a man like Javale McGee wouldve been helpful. Ibaka, Gasol, Saikam, and Kawhi just had ZERO resistance towards the rim and around the paint. Athletic length is a must. Cant wait for the draft. hopefully we can find someone good. If KD leaves, I need Quinn Cook to also pack his bags. He was brought in to do one thing and he just wasnt reliable. Ugh. Sorry this comment is so long. Just so much to say. I'll see you soon my man. It was a rough season and it ended horribly bitter. Wishing the best for you and your family, as well as Klay and KD lol.

Jansen E

I really hope some of these games from these playoffs don't get lost to history just because we came up short. Game 5/6 against Houston, Game 5 against Toronto in particular. Real champions showing their grit and will to fight. Those are games that I'll always hold onto as a fan.

Conrad Smith

Seeing someone celebrating on Oracle's last night broke my heart. It almost feels worse than 2016 because it seemed like the closing of a book despite how many of our guys sacrificed their futures to pull something off. More than anything I want to run it back with a full squad that is physically and mentally rested. Thanks for the videos this season.

Ben

Sucks that we were the team that had to play "Regular Season Lowry". Wish we got the "Burger King" version

Nikolai Kochukov

Hella proud of these guys! The way they fought and continued to compete despite all the bad luck with injuries... Just speaks volumes to their character, their heart and to how bad they want it for each other. Obviously, we wanted that story book ending but I’m inspired by the hearts of these Champions! I think this increases the chances of Klay, Durant and even Boogie returning... I think they feel unsatisfied. Don’t wanna go out like this... Agree that Dray gotta work on his shot this summer. A little push shot in the lane would help him keep the defense honest with his patent lob. I did feel like he was doing too much which affected his execution but I thought he showed big heart, as usual, especially on the boards. We wouldn’t have had this success without him. Hella looking forward to the summer! Thanks for everything big homie! I appreciate all your hard work and dedication to us, the Dubs and of course, for the game of basketball! You know I’ma be around to support! We believe!

Not gonna lie Alc, I started watching then I cut it off... This series just felt like the ending of the movie "300" where all the characters start to die off and Leoniadis(Steph) is the only one left catching all sorts of arrows smh... I'm proud of my boys thou and I appreciate ya basketball mind bro... Can't wait for what you come out with next✌️✌️✌️

Man, after Klay went down and I saw Steph sitting there on the other side of the court it just threw me off. I was praying that it wasn’t anything major but when the news came that it was his ACL I didn’t want to watch anymore. I didn’t want to win, didn’t want a game 7. I just wanted everything to be over. This has probably even the most traumatic postseason I’ve ever witnessed. I love all the guys on this team and their competitive spirit. We probably shouldn’t have been as close as we were in any of these games. That’s an accomplishment in itself. I have NO IDEA what’s going to happen this summer but I’m sticking with these guys. They gave me no reasons to be disappointed. I won’t even be mad if they pull the load management card for Steph next season. I’ve always said I felt like these guys needed a year off if they won this year. Well dammit they need a year off anyway. 5 years of playing 100 games a year takes a toll. I just want everyone to heal. So proud of these guys!

Been fun riding with you this season. Incredible job with the videos. Can’t wait for next season.

thanks for the content homie. This just a bad cog in a wheel that will be moving again

I could cry. You know. What a run. Almost like you say about curry missing that millionth free throw in a row and breaking the streak...it’s a release valve. This is our team release valve. (Granted, a little to brutal of one....) And such a poignant moment to be moving to Chase center. The moment Klay went down there was no way I wanted a game 7. The organization is gonna make good moves. We have a good thing and hell no way is it just gonna sputter out. Next year, who knows, it may be refreshing to not constantly hear “warriors are a lock to win it!” Or “the warriors are falling apart!” All I know is I love this squad and what we’ve done and I’m happy for Toronto. And by god we smoked the rockets again in satisfying fashion. Cheers to that! Alch I can’t even remember how I stumbled upon your channel but it has been such a pleasure to have you in all our lives telling it how it is and enlightening us on the game. I look forward to everything coming next from you. the game don’t stop! This off season is about to be wild and I am hyped for summer league! You gotta hit up some games and host an alch meetup, no lie. That’d be hype. I’m ramblin’! Appreciate you, Alch.

Spence

i could tell you're holdin back tears on that klay section

Warriors FOREVER! Alch you always got my support my favorite sports analysis commentator. I believe we'll make the most of what we have. I think KD is gonna leave and Klay stays and Lacob and crew HAVE to reinforce the bench with everyone getting old and retiring. IGGY is a big question mark. SO much. Warriors showed their true nature this whole series. RESILIENCY ! Head up High Dub Nation!!

Yeah I agree Curry should have looked more for his shots. He did get doubled relentlessly but have the confidence to pull up from 30. That was the difference in mindset in game 3 because he knew he had to take the shots. It's almost like he underrates what kind of shots he can make. Not enough PnR as usual, our execution overall was poor. Draymond did get exposed like you said, his offensive value without spacing provided is just awful. It felt like 2 vs 5 all stars all series. Game 6 Klay... not much to say. It's almost like the meme makes him focus even better. Smooth consistent shot making that I have not seen in much of the regulsr season. Iguodala was strangely very good yet very bad. 1/5 FT cost us but he also hit some crucial buckets. He could play one more season but Livingston has to go for sure. Let's hope Bob Meyers can work his magic.

Paradox

Fuck this season, even Klay Thompson got chipped up. anyway, we ain't going anywhere fam.

adrian salazar

So proud of the team.Cousins and Durant went down, we beat the rockets. Klay went down, we almost beat the Raptors. So much heart and fight. This is why I love this team.

As soon as Klay went down, it was over. It would've been futile to go to Game 7. They were clanking free throws. It was over.

Bailey

First off, thank you for all the hustle throughout the season, it's always exciting to know that after a warriors game there will be an Alch Breakdown. I really appreciate it. Obviously not the best way to go out at oracle. The klay injury was devastating to me, I couldn't really focus on the game after it happend, and first thing I called after I saw it was TORN ACL. I don't know where we go from here, obviously you don't want to waste a prime year of Curry, but is it worth it to try a deep playoff push with an undermanned roster. I don't know it's to early, but next year is gonna be tough. Biggest priority: Keep LOON, Keep KLAY, Keep Durant so much respect for their effort in this series.

Toulivinho

Regardless of the outcome this team performed to the best of there abilities. I was happy we took it to game 6 and nearly won it.

martin pattison

To me, going down the way the warriors did made KD, Steph and Klay more legendary than a normal series win would have. Theres no way to lose in a more legendary fashion.

Aidan Mackenzie

+ thanks for a 🔥 season been rockin wit u since you had 95 fuckin SUBS 🤘🏽🤘🏽🤘🏽

Thanks for another great season! I’m already looking forward to next year. In the meantime, keep us up to date with your perspective during the off-season.

Dave

Idk why but I don’t feel sad or like we choked... I almost wanted us to get put out of our misery. We know we weren’t gonna win a game 7 with no Klay anyways... tbh I think kd and boogie are both resigning I’m not sure if we’ll be back nxt yr maybe 2021 tho

Hopefully this gives our younger guys a chance to get out here and get better and learn by playing now. Health is wealth and I’m lookin forward to it. Good shit Alc. Hell of another season!!

Tre

Man, when Klay went down I knew we were done, whether it was this game or game 7, we were too banged up. This is the first time I've ever had my eyes tear up during a basketball breakdown, when Alch was talking about Klay in the middle of the vid man, that hit me. This loss hurts as losses do, but not as much as 2016 to the Cavs.

Macca

What do you think is next for us Alc

Thomas Joseph

Thank you alch! you've done so much for us

thx bro for whole season's of great work

Bryan Yu

Riding with my boys. This ain't done. We will be back.

Everytime we had a spark, a casualty followed

Thomas Joseph

I can't believe one team could be so unfortunate

Thomas Joseph

Alch, mad respect for you and the hard work you put in. When you spoke about Klay that emotionally you could tell klay is the realest warrior ever. That guy is a ride and die dude, no conscience. He'll be back and I'm sure KD will too. As for Draymond I think he will get shipped. His hassle was worth it all these years due to the talent around him but now comes the time to move on!. Bless!

No doubt we were winning last night..he was in full on game 6 mode

Athletic Alchemy

Thanks Edward! I think it will be relieving for them to not have crazy expectations

Athletic Alchemy

Thank you!

Athletic Alchemy

fuck man I was at the game. I truly think if Klay doesn't go down we win game 6 and are the favorites in game 7. I know nobody is gonna give us injuries as an excuse but seriously how many players can a team lose

slamandjam2

Just wanted to thank you Alch for another great season of covering the Warriors. I am so proud of the team and all the adversity they went through this year and I’m ready to run it back next year!

Edward Zeng

Not looking forward to this one lol. Great job though man keep it up

JC76
