Obviously KD arranged with both teams to give an asset back for his signing with the Nets. All the best to him, he's been a true warrior. Now for Dlo I really like him as a player. His game reminds me of Harden to be honest. He is smooth and if the Nets had the choice, my guess is they would rather keep Russell and KD than 6.1' Kyrie. But they didn't, they had to take Kyrie to get to KD. So Russell did a lot of work this past season and if he commits on defence he can be a starter on a championship team. The thing is the Warriors lack a wing defender/scorer (Barns upgraded to KD) far more than a guard, and that's why I think that Russell will be traded for one.

Love the move Now we need a vertical spacer But we could plan to play small with Bell at the 4 and Dray at the 5 at the end of games and still have the lob threat from Jordan Iggy and his book tour shipped out to Memphis,,,,seems like the front office felt some type a way Looks like Dray’s here to stay, interesting to see what number they come to for the extension with Kinda hard to sell him on a deal cheaper than 117 for 4 now, huh?)

Interesting idea regarding the trade deadline and Dlo🤔 Kevon may go get paid and he'd deserve it. We also dont have Bogut- he's contracted for another league. We could possibly get him back towards the end of the season like this year because that's the offseason for the other league that he plays for.

The lack of scoring was caused in part by lack of paint presence. The Dubs lack a big that can play above the rim offensively and such a big would have kept Gasol and Ibaka honest in covering rim runs instead of assisting in trapping Steph near the top of the paint to mid court in the box+1. Gasol in particular became a big disruptor of Steph when he helped Lowry and Van Vleet trap him at mid court. Part of that is Boogie being hobbled because a healthy Cousins, in theory, would have provided a consistent offensive threat in the block. The Warriors front court can't keep any teams honest when the shooting isn't present. They don't have that to fall back on and that's a philosophical flaw, scheme and personnel wise. They undervalue effective offensive big play and Nick Nurse took advantage of that by not trying to go small. The other part of it is second chance opportunities and rebounding on both ends of the court. That said, though, I'm certain if they were healthy the shooting/presence of Klay and KD would have resulted in another ring.

the biggest problem in the finals wasn't pain presence (eventhough it was one aspect), it was lack of scoring. If your offense got box and 1 played on you it indicates a lack luster offensive system

I'm thinking D-Lo at the 2 is a place holder for Klay until trade deadline. I can see us getting rid of him once Klay is at full power. Hopefully for a center, which would give Kevon(if he signs) & Bogut some much needed rest midseason. But if this doesn't happen idk what's happening w Cook since we have too many guards now. Stuff rly don't make sense rn.

The Finals showed the Dubs have issues with paint presence more than anything. They need to bring in someone like Kenneth Faried to bolster the front court's physicality, hustle and athleticism. Maybe bring JaVale back as well. The lack of Javale and D. West really showed. Toronto bullied the Dubs (though injuries were the real kryptonite). Bell and Jones haven't developed into worthwhile options. Looney's a keeper though.

This is no doubt a move. Losing Iggy hurts for sure. I wonder what this means for Dray?

Im not sure how I feel about that. I really dont want DLo on the Warriors. The dude isnt a defender at all. Sure he can score.....but. He has a fat ego, plays no D. He is basically the exact opposite of someone like Klay, no? He's a great passer, but who will he be passing to on our team.....................unless they can somehow package Jared Allen to come too. Also Im actually surprised but also not surprised that KD went to team up with Kyrie. Im not too upset but it also just seems like a bitchass move overall. Whatever. This has to force Draymond to step his shit up cuz the dude will be out of the league soon if he cant get an offensive game.

RIP IGGY. I understand that it's for the better, man was gonna turn 36, but it hurts way worse than KD leaving. Locker room is gonna be way different next year.

Wow we really did it. I’m happy but I can’t really think about Andre right now. He was one of my favorite players throughout this run and I’m gonna miss him so much.
