Minecraft Server, Movie Nights, & MORE! - Patreon Update June 2022

Hello there, Patreon Posse!

Like the name? I hadn't thought of alliteration for my incredibly generous Patreon supporters for a long time. I think Patreon Posse is a good fit!

As of today, June 1st 2022, I'm happy to introduce a few adjustments to current tiers, a new tier, and more benefits for existing ones! All of these tweaks were made to provide the best value to those who support me monthly while making it easier for me to maintain.

These benefits are subject to change, but I'm going to roll with everything listed below for the next 3 months. After the three-month trial, I'll course-correct as needed. 

In addition to some tweaks to benefits, I've also adjusted the names of each tier so it's easier to understand. I took a bit of inspiration from the Pro Gamers Guide to Healthy Habits Kickstarter campaign back in January. Each "LEVEL" has its own benefits, which stack onto each other the higher your patronage goes.

Without further ado, let's get into the "new" tier system and its benefits!

LV. 1 - Thank You in Credits!

Your $1 pledge gets you placement in the orange scroll that rolls along the bottom of my livestreams on Twitch.tv/BrickOBrian. Previously, this tier put your name at the end slate of videos that aired across all platforms.

Why was this change made?

The audiences across platforms, and specifically YouTube, are more finicky than ever. If someone senses the video is coming to a close, they typically exit the video sooner, thus killing engagement toward the latter half of the video. My videos have ended more "abruptly" so viewers can stay engaged without realizing the video is ending. Doing this helps push the video out to new people (which is the goal)!

The end slate in videos, although a wonderful tribute to my amazing Pateron Posse, was a detriment to a video's success on YouTube.

The new placement on the scroll is CONTINUOUSLY going during the intro, full-screen, and other placements during livestreams. Your name gets featured larger, and more frequently than ever, and isn't delegated to the END of a video. (It's also MUCH easier for me to edit at the beginning of the month 😅)

You can catch your name in the lower scroll at least 3 times a week over on Twitch.

LV. 2 - Sneak Peek at the HEAT! 🔥

I always mention that I have something "cooking in the kitchen", and my Patreon supporters deserve to know what's happening. Every month I'll be posting an update on all the things happening in the world of Bricks 'O' Brian. Whether it's new merchandise, billion-dollar deals, or updates on current projects, Patrons at the LV.2 or higher will know FIRST!

This will NOT include detailed updates regarding my book, Pro Gamers Guide to Healthy Habits. That's its own "thing" that warrants updates on the Kickstarter and website. I may mention a brief, big updates here, but not the nitty-gritty.

This tier previously included exclusive access to the Brick City Club & Lounge Discord Server. It's now a minimum threshold to see all the spicy secrets I'm keeping in my back pocket. The Discord server is now publicly available to everybody.

Why was this change made?

It really is the "more the merrier" situation with Discord servers. The moderation team has done an incredible job keeping the peace, while I've implemented safeguards to keep it a family-friendly server overall.

With all the work that's been put into the Discord server, I feel it's in a place to be openly accessible for anybody who wants to join. Patreon supporters got early access for a few months, and now you can access an exclusive section in the server along with other Posse members. Plus, now you're going to get more sneak peeks into the hotness once a month (or more!)

LV. 3 - The Stickah Club!

By supporting this tier, you'll receive a 2-inch sticker every month that your patronage continues! Stickers are delivered bi-monthly, and will be based on something from the world of Bricks 'O' Brian. Whether it's an emote, inside joke, or a brand new design, you can show your support for B'O'B anywhere you'd like!

In this horrifically created visual, you'll see the estimated delivery dates for new stickers throughout the remainder of the year.

That's by far the worst graphic I've made all year, but you get the point. Stickers ship every other month on the odd months of the year.

LV. 4 - Official Brick Buddy!

Becoming a Brick Buddy nets you a BONUS sticker every delivery! These 3-inch stickers are an additional piece of hotness for you to stick on a water bottle, car, or anywhere else. There's ANOTHER thing only Brick Buddies can participate in...

*NEW* - The Movie Club!

Introducing a new benefit, The Movie Club! In the Discord server, you'll get to vote on which movie we'll watch "together" and have a post-show discussion on the voice channel. Once a month we'll come together to watch a classic, newer release, or holiday movie. Make sure you've joined Discord to get all the info.

I also made this tier as a means to force myself to watch more movies. What better way to do it than with the Brick Buddies! 😂

LV. 5 - Hall of Fame

This new tier is meant to honor those who take their patronage to another level. If you're a fan of Minecraft, you may want to open your ears (or... eyes?) for this one.

By pledging at this tier, you'll get a special placement in the Bricks 'O' Brian Official Minecraft server FOREVER! Create a customized 20x20 block area however you'd like to be immortalized as a Bricks 'O' Brian Community Hall of Fame Member! 

You'll also get to participate alongside Brian and create a brand new building to add to the Brick City skyline! Add your own artistic flair and get personal game time with Bricks 'O' Brian EVERY month on the server (and in the Discord voice channel.)

WAIT... DID YOU SAY, A NEW MINECRAFT SERVER!?!?!

Uhh.... yes. 😁

*NEW* Brick City Survival Minecraft Server

This is unlike anything the moderators or myself have ever done before. I've always wanted to make a unified place for all my fans to come together and play. It needed to safe, reliable, easy to maintain, and fun for everybody. I've finally found a solution thanks to the help of Minecraft Guru (and friend of the show) Kendrisite!

More details to come on exactly what the server is and how it functions. To get ahead of the curb, join the Discord server to stay updated on development. The Patreon Posse will be the first to know of a full showcase and release date for the server!

Oh, I forgot to mention...

The Minecraft server is free to access and play for EVERYONE. Yes, E V E R Y O N E. 

Bedrock AND Java editions are compatible! 

The Patreon Posse will have special perks, but EVERYBODY can play on the server at no additional cost. More features will be added as I gather more support on Patreon, but again, more details later.

LV. ⭐- The Producer Club

In addition to EVERY previous perk, you get to join an exclusive monthly meetup with Bricks 'O' Brian. A little something for the kiddos, and something for the parents who are just as big of fans as they are!

*NEW" Monthly Video Call!

Once a month I'll schedule a meetup date to be held via Zoom where families can join the call to say hello! This session will be 30 minutes long, so everybody can get a chance to say whatever they want to without dedicating a whole night to it.

Then, for the adults later into the night, they'll receive a separate Zoom link so they can shoot the breeze with Brian Saviano. It's a time when you can let the kids go to bed, but have a chance at "adult talk" with me. Think of it as an interactive Fireside Fridays!

This isn't a raunchy, unfiltered, NSFW video session, but it's a chance for the adult fans of B'O'B to talk about whatever. This session goes for 30 minutes or longer depending on how the vibe is. Admittedly, the people who usually support this tier are avid B'O'B fans alongside their kids, so it's a win-win for everyone involved!
