An Update to The Game Club & More!

Happy Sunday Patreon people!

These past few months have been interesting for all of us, and especially me! As we're on the cusp of the light around the corner, it's a good time to keep y'all updated on where I'm at and what I'm working on. So let me get on with it!

- The Game Club

Earlier this year I established The Game Club, a tier designed to let core audience members join in on the gaming action in a more personal way. These past few weeks have had a LOT of trail and error, but I finally feel like I have a grip on how to handle things with that and in the Discord Server (The Brick City Club & Lounge). Thank you for bearing with me as I get people connected and settled in!

Every Friday at 3:30pm I squad up with Game Club members in the Discord server and play Fortnite for around an hour and a half (since I usually stream Fortnite Fridays at 5PM EST). Members can play alongside other members and myself in a variety of game modes in a family friendly voice chat. It's genuinely fun for me to dive in with y'all and get some games in. It's been a great success and I can't wait to keep it going! (I'll still play Fortnite at 3:30 EST even if I'm not streaming Fortnite at 5PM EST)!

- Minecraft Server Discontinuation

I also hosted a Minecraft server called, "The Outskirts" that members could play on. Due to an overall lack of interest, I've decided to discontinue that perk as part of The Game Club.

For those that would like to join a BOB community Minecraft server, Deanna Shea has organized a "Mom Squad" Minecraft server! More details can be found via the Facebook group: https://www.facebook.com/groups/415933029678338

I have been told it is welcoming, and well moderated (Deanna is a Mom Squad member after all), so I highly recommend checking it out! (Note: I am not a participant on this server, this is community run and has no direct moderation or influence from me).

 Instead of running my own Minecraft server, I thought of something else fun to offer for Game Club Members...

- A Monthly Chat with BOB!

As part of your Game Club membership, you'll be invited to join in on a monthly community chat session, so you can get face-to-face, one on one time with me! This will be the first time I'm trying something like this, so I don't know how exactly it's going to go... I'm able to confirm this will take place on Saturday April 24th (time TBD) so mark your calendars! Info on how exactly to join and how it's going to work will come at a later time. I think this is a much better value for those who want to support me and get more involved with what I'm up to! 

I'll be pushing my Patreon as a key way to support me throughout May, so this month will be a good time to test things out and refine as I go.

- Content Updates!

You may be thinking, "Man Brian all this stuff is great but aren't you supposed to make videos for a living??" Well, that's true... We've been in a MASSVIE slump of movies, games, and just fun stuff in general... so I've been doing all the other life things I've been putting off 'cause I've been so busy doing videos! I'm happy to share that I'm recording a playthrough of "Pokemon Platinum" that should be debuting very soon! I'll (obviously) be covering new releases as they come out, and continue to work on some older games... but as a reminder, you can catch me gaming three times a week at Twitch.tv/BricksOBrian!

- I have a Podcast!

Reminder for those who may not have caught it before, but I have a podcast! The "Out of the Bag Podcast" is where I delve into the topics I don't get to in videos or streams. I think that's all I have for this very moment. I have lots of new things cooking in "the kitchen" and I can't wait to do all that! More importantly, I can't wait to dive back into whatever real life is... I have a wedding I'm supposed to be at in July, so that's the most normal thing on my slate for the foreseeable future.
