Looks like McKinnie is going to get the cut for Chriss based on the rumors. We need the extra size anyways. It's too bad because he's a likable guy.
God Patreon is annoying I can't make a new paragraph on desktop. Does anyone get confused looking between DLo and Poole, they have the same hair style. Really hyped up on Poole, he has a ton of offensive potential.

Yeah def migrated from the bench of MLE and vet minimum guys. David West and JaVale were peak. Statistically there is no way we can get much off these guys we have now. We will get one or two productive dudes, seems like we have 8 of them

Aw man I didn't realize how much I missed it until I heard it again.. Alch with the fresh takes 🔥
Youth movement looking good. We want some roster competition and turnover this year. Dlo will play himself into shape, his game is about timing more than athleticism anyway.
Lakers size will be good in the season but we'll see how it holds up in the playoffs. There's only so much Javale or Dwight you can run against the best teams. When it comes down to LeBron, AD and 3&D players vs the Jazz or the Clippers, their depth will be exposed.

As one alchemist to another, you'll not be surprised to know that I believe in symbolism and synchronicity. Indeed, I was glad to hear you employ the word "synchronicity" in your video. I was also glad that you informed us that Steph intended to christen the new stadium with a quick three-pointer. And then, appropriately, you showed us that particular Steph shot, which missed the basket by about two feet short. A bit later, you showed us Steph making a three-point basket. Now, I'm not saying this as necessarily accurate symbolic prophecy, but if one is playfully attuned to symbolism, one could say that Steph's first miss, followed not-long-after by a successful three-point shot, indicates that we ought not to have overly high expectations of Steph and the team in the early part of the season, but we have every right to think they will gradually, delightfully, exponentially improve as the season goes on, and will indeed make the play-offs in the spring of 2020. Thanks for another great video. It allowed me to get acquainted with some Warrior players I had not known about, and to recognize some of the other new-comers, to which you had introduced us over the summer.

2019-10-07 09:39:22 +0000 UTC
I think even if you cut all those nobodies they're not even close to what they're paying Iggy for. I think he's like 17 mil for 2 years? Same with SDot. So those two off the books was a no-brainer and they're older this year. As for Draymond, yeah if he doesn't take 3s then I like that management let go of Iggy and SDot because those three together in the playoffs will create spacing disaster offensively. Not to mention if you have Looney or WCS on the floor too.
I am actually hoping for them to go hard on Spellman. I like Dray as the center, Spellman as the 4, Klay, DLo, then Steph. If Spellman can be Draymond 2.0 then they'll be fine defensively. Or at least Mo Speights 2.0.

2019-10-07 08:37:43 +0000 UTC
Not sure. I've been told the same. Honestly though, it's kinda okay to not have Iggy and SDot anymore because this year they'll be slower and older, and they aren't perimeter threats. Just my 2 cents

Damn. And I thought our bench the last two years was trash. If that was trash, this is like rotted mold decomposing. I can’t understand how they justified getting rid of Iggys salary rather than simply cutting McKinnie and Damian Lee and choosing NOT to sign all these nobodies. Spellman looked awful but he’s new so I’ll cut him some slack. I was pleasantly surprised with Pascal. With some development, he could actually be a solid contributor. Poole looked nice too. Outside Curry and Russel, he’s our go-to for scoring. I’m super excited for him. But my biggest takeaway from this game?? We desperately need an actual big to play the 5. I know it’s all injuries right now. But if we don’t find a replacement soon, we’re talking a 5-15 start to the season. Also, it appears as if Draymond didn’t work on his 3pt shot at all this offseason. What are your thoughts on that Alch? Cuz if Draymond still can’t shoot, he’s really reached his ceiling in terms of usefulness. He can never be more than “that guy who passes to Curry and Klay” on offense. Sure he’ll rack up assists and every now and then he will drive to the rim. But realistically.....he’s just another brick wall dead end offensively. I’m scared for the amount of offensive weight they’ll put on Curry to keep them afloat. Can’t risk any more injuries at this point.

AD looks terrifying offensively, i don't think my rockets, capela in particular can stop him. I think Draymond and Paschall can handle him just fine though, Davis is a bit soft. And curry can light them all up on offence as he did, he could've carryied GS to a W earlier.

Keep Alfonso. Send Bowman to Santa Cruz. Get Chriss on a 2-way and use him up early in the season while we have a depth problem at center. If Chriss shows he can learn the offense and doesn't have any attitude problems, then sign him late in the season, after we have room under the hard cap.
McKinnie has already shown that he is good enough to be a solid NBA roleplayer. He has a skill set we need off the bench. He's going to keep improving and, best of all, he knows our system when the majority of the team does not.

I hope warriors cut McKinnie he totally sucks. Last year in the playoffs he gave us almost nothing. Dude can't guard anybody. Last year he shot 35% from 3 acceptable... in the playoffs it dropped to 30%. Even though we were running out of healthy bodies in the playoffs last year he barely saw the floor. He has a low IQ. His one good trait is offensive rebounding. Not enough for me. Chriss did impress last night if its between McKinnie and him its a no brainer.McKinnie has reached his very low ceiling and I see no room for improvement. McKinnie was a nice story but his time is up.
2019-10-06 21:54:00 +0000 UTC
I’m sold on Chriss. I can just see him in that goony Zaza role. This could be a Zaza and Ron Adams training project that could pay off in dividends. Plus, if we know one thing about Kerr its that he loves having Swiss Army Knife of bigs.

Not gonna lie.. that was the most exciting preseason Warriors game I've watched in a long time! I kinda liked that they were being completely destroyed in the beginning and then you see them slowly chipping away at it and figuring things out. Poole is definitely great. I was equally upset when he rolled his ankle or whatever it was. I mean we already have been hit by the injury bug we don't need more! But the whole idea of fighting giants (literally) is a fun way to watch basketball that, frankly, we've been missing for a while because we were the giants. :p

McKinnie has to go if this is what the team continues to get from him. With the old Dubs he could kind of be a stopgap but not really be a starter. He just does not impress and size and smarts is what the team needs. I think we have enough guards who can hit 3s; wings and length are in short supply. Also- your point about Instagram videos is incredibly accurate. On one hand Willie Cauley Stein was always so active on his feed I though he was going to go too hard and hurt himself-and D Lo kind of needs more than just shooting 3s w Steph
Paul Hanson
2019-10-06 20:37:05 +0000 UTC
To contend the Warriors are going to need several of the numerous young/new players to have breakout years but that doesn't seem like that much of a stretch as there are many candidates with a variety of skills. As for this game, ithad no real meaning as a test without Looney and Cauley-Stein on the court. It's a very exciting start to the year and Steph is primed to have an amazing year barring injury.
Steven Stanley
2019-10-06 20:19:50 +0000 UTC
Not sure how many minutes will be available for Chriss once Loon and Cauley-Stein come back. He was definitely impressive yesterday, but if we waive McKinnie, that leaves Robinson as our only SF on the roster.

I called it when we picked Chriss up that McKinnie was gonna lose his spot. Hearing Draymond praise Chriss it's all but over for Zo. I'm really impressed all of our young guys, it's refreshing to players on the bench that can reliably score more than 4 pts a game without needing Steph or Dray to put it on a platter for them. Also Fitz and Kelenna are a awful broadcasting pair, I sat there and listened to them talk about hot dogs for what felt like five minutes.
