GSW vs OKC |GM-2|

I laughed for 2 minutes straight on the "look..at the size..of this dude's head". You crack me up.

This was just annoying. I know that it is a early start for them but that was just pathetic. No energy what so ever.

William Mitchell

Yep by December we can move him to Minnesota, Orlando, Phoenix or Washington.

Lyle Mabalot

I did the same thing. It’s way harder to avoid NFL scores. There gonna move him, I can feel it.

Athletic Alchemy

I been saying it all along. Whether they wanna admit it or not, they have to move DLo to Minnesota for Okogie, Teague, and Covington so DLo can be with KAT... OR Phoenix for Rubio, Oubre and 1 more guy so DLo can be with DBook. The other options are Orlando for Gordon, Augustin, and Ross OR Washington for Beal and Bryant. Heck maybe even send DLo to Toronto for VanVleet and Ibaka maybe.

Lyle Mabalot

Goddamn Damion might be trash on defense but he can actually shoot. #splash brother-in-law

Paradox

lmao nigha the damien lee voice is on point i ran into bruh hella randomly in hayward walking on B st on the phone dam near arguing wit steph sis, I mean this nigga walking doing laps on his way around like lap 3 i said wassup and called him damien jones💀 he wasnt trippin shook my hand and said somethin but that nigga micheal jackson voice threw me all the way off.. thought I'd share keep up the great content and commentary

DLP

Oh boy!

Strong Foru

Also the other thing I said. I'll put $20 on my prediction that the Warriors lose 20 games before they hit double digit wins. I put that on. I will up my patreon value to $20 if the Warriors hit 10 wins before hitting 20 losses. Im THAT confident it wont happen.

Jansen E

I recorded this game to watch it after watching my 49ers beat that ass against Carolina. I knew they lost, but I thought I should still be a good loyal fan and watch the whole game. I usually do anyway to see how things go. I got through 2 and a half quarters and didnt finish it. I couldnt. It was too boring, too awful, and the Packers v Chiefs game was more interesting. I literally said this in the comments of the last game......Im fine with the Warriors losing blowouts against the top contending teams, but teams in the midtier would concern. OKC is no slouch obviously. Steven Adams always gives them trouble and Chris Paul has angry nightmares of the Warriors and prays every night he can one day beat Steph Curry in the playoffs again. But this was sad. I know our defense is bad and we literally cant score for shit, but teams are LIGHTING US UP like its nothing. Like zero resistance, no effort. You talk about light work for the Clippers? The Warriors have become a bye week for the NBA. Gallinari, Ferguson, Schroeder, and SGA were all scoring like they were at a shootaround. Im not really sure what to say about this other than to reiterate what you said last game. For Curry and Draymond, this is all about mindset. How will you maintain your leadership and ego through hardship like this? How will your effort level be? I understand its a long season, but these young guys need to be developed, and the last thing you want is for them to develop a losing mindset of not fighting hard, giving up early, and checking out mentally. I understand itll be extremely difficult for Curry and Dray to do this but thats literally what they should be expected to do. Curry has been on a trash Warriors team before, but he was never in that leadership position or scoring spotlight. This season will be VERY interesting as it will be a great measure of character, ego, and resilience of them two. As for DLo..........we shouldve gotten Dimwiddie + Allen man. Im not saying DLo is trash or a bust of a sign, but like.....he aint it. Not the way hes playing defense. Yeah he got thrown out and lost his cool and couldnt hit the side of a barn, and thats not gonna happen every game. But that defensive effort will be every game. And I dont know how long or how much patience Kerr+Draymond will have for DLo thinking he's James harden and only playing on one half of the court.

Jansen E

My God it is looking spooky out there! Alch had my balling with at the end with ol dude. LMAO! DLO with the binoculars on the side and Steph with the welp attitude. It'll get worse but I'm hoping for that young guys grow. Glad they take it seriously. Alch always helping understand what's really going on !

KendrickTheCreative

Yeah it's a bad message when the coaching staff doesn't challenge a call like that. These young guys need to feel supported and respected and they're not really getting it from the coaching staff.. and seemingly lack of trust from the more seasoned players doesn't help matters either. Confidence is huge for any ball player, especially for young ones who are just starting out. If this keeps up, I'm worried that the youngsters will start losing their confidence even more and/or just get fed up with everything and start looking elsewhere. Steph and Dray and Kerr all need to understand that this is a developmental phase and that the young ones need role models... which currently doesn't seem to exist. At least, it doesn't appear to exist out on the court that we can see.

Tony H

Is there any possibility for us to trade D-trash for some versatile wingers? Hopefully a 3&d guy atleast

Ravi Dissanayake

Is it anyway to dumb marquese chriss for Kenneth Faried and trade Omar Spellman for grizzlies Josh Jackson

Chris Goodman

OMFG....Poole starts game 3 after 2 completely dreadful games WOW.

Steven Stanley

I’m with you..I would rather see our guys be aggressive than passive on offense just to get the juices flowing a little. We are passing up/not executing the easy plays. We just need time and I think it needs to get worst first as well!

Tre

I didn't like seeing Kerr and the coaching staff wave off Chriss either, If Kerr dosen't fix his attitude he's going to lose this young locker room. Also do you think we should hold out until the offseason to trade D'angelo or do we try to dump him off on the T-wovles Dec. 15 for Wiggins, Convington/Okogie and maybe a 1st pick?

SunniDaZambi

Injuries, young guys, roster turnover... Most fans get it. But you have compete, they haven't even looked like and NBA team.

Athletic Alchemy

To be frank..we will be lucky to get anything back of value other then a salary dump. The system thing is tricky in the sense of "believing" guys can excel in it. Most coaches tend to think everyone can succeed in their system, and thats why they run it. To you in I, its pretty clear its not for DLO, but thats not stopping Kerr from trying.

Athletic Alchemy

Great video. Couldn't have put it better myself. Steph and Draymond though, god damn. Draymond running his mouth about underdog season this, underdog season that. Comes out there looking like it's pre-pre-season. Kerr saying pathetic shit like "oh this is the reality in the NBA". Get off your chair and fucking coach.

Slava G

Fortunately I missed this game, but I never miss your breakdowns. I don't know if D'Lo is ever going to play with enough defensive focus to be a playoff-winning player, but I also don't think he's going to be able to play as a shooting guard or wing for us in our offensive system. He's a pure point guard. Kerr's system doesn't use pure point guards as all. The ball handling duties get spread out and most of the time the ball gets dumped into the hands of a forward who then makes the play as the guards get open. I don't see D'Lo filling Klay's role in the offense at all. Klay is an entirely different guard. He's setting screens, slipping into open spots, running the defense until they wear down and then nailing open looks. Klay seemed to earn his open shots with constant effort and movement. D'Lo is used to being smooth, relaxed, and using a simple bag of tricks to finesse either a look or a pass. The old system doesn't work with this back court. And is there much point in running a "your turn, my turn" style offense instead? One last thought: I'm perfectly OK with the Warriors sticking to a movement offense if they believe they have the players who will ONE DAY excell in it. Develop them by playing them heavy minutes, not just by making them learn at Santa Cruz (like Evans did). I just have strong doubts about if the offense suits this roster.

Thomas Ogas

Melo isn't the best prospect in the draft. He's not even top 10.

Branden Edwards

tank for melo ball

Me being a gym rat, it bothers me sooo much that Lee has got this opportunity. Lacks NBA level athleticism, yet is walking around carrying an extra 15 lbs...like its unfathomable to me!

Athletic Alchemy

And we might as well get the trade proposals started man let's see if we can find a good solution to our D'lo problem now so as soon as possible we trade this joker for a real piece (or pieces) to our puzzle.

Thomas Joseph

This shit was so damn sad to watch man, I stopped watching half way thru the third to be honest. I think Steve needs to prove his worth here it's not only up to Steph and Dray to play coach he needs to do his damn job. He's just to managing talent but now we need him to actually fuckin coach.

Thomas Joseph

They ran more set plays which is good. The offense was less predictable and we got more open shots. They just didn't go in. Curry's shot is off (happens once or twice a season when he starts jumping too much). He has the best pump fake potential in the game with defenders all over him and his fast release, he needs to get to the line more so defenders stop playing him up so close. A foul on a 3 pt shot is statistically the best conversion for most people in the league, including Curry. But he doesn't use it. DLo can also utilize this. But another thing is Curry needs to take more long distance shots off the dribble. He can take 30 shots a game when he wants to, he's just afraid to when he's not in rhythm. We saw this in stretches of 2016 in 2019 where he's completely locked in and isos on everyone, can shoot with a hand in his face. That confidence is going to have to show up soon.

Paradox

Watching live I was feeling the same..but on sequin watch this morning they ran a tone of PnR!

Athletic Alchemy

Not gonna lie, I already been in the trade machine. Im give it 10 game tho before I start purposing them to yall...

Athletic Alchemy

Thanks Stef!

Athletic Alchemy

I think the type of coaching we need is the Brad Stevens, Larry Brown, Nick Nurse type. Meaning a coaches coach, someone who has put in years in years at the bottom level and knows how to teach the basics. Not so much manage the talent.

Athletic Alchemy

nah im peep

Athletic Alchemy

at some point you got just send a message by putting out the 5 guys that will play hardest.

Athletic Alchemy

To be fair healthy, they would have WCS, Loon, Chriss and Spellman.. I think they are looking extra bad because of how weak our two Allstar guards are guarding the perimeter

Athletic Alchemy

Chriss seems like a momentum player too..If we can get him confident and rolling hard for his, I think it could be very effective most nights.

Athletic Alchemy

Im right with you, this is going to force Steph and Dray to grow. I have just seen too many Broken window things with DLO's personality and court character every time I watch him...question is will Kerr be allowed to sit him.

Athletic Alchemy

Thing is Kerr is powerless, Kid got the max, and oh yeah we need to keep his trade value up.

Athletic Alchemy

10 gm like this to start...Mike Brown may be moving up a seat....Seems like crazy talk I know. But This is next level ugly.

Athletic Alchemy

Alc, Damien Lee’s defence is so damn shocking! Also, good note on Chriss’ contest and the coaching staff not listening to him. That just puts a young player down. They need to believe in him for him to believe himself.

Paul Byun

I'm not done with DLo. I'm about done with Kerr, though. DLo is a PnR ball handler. Where are the picks? You can't take away what he does best and then expect him to do everything else for you. You don't buy a chair and complain it doesn't work as a table. Steph, too. If it kills Kerr to run PnR for them, I'd rather see Kerr go.

Starting to think we're cursed from this San Fran move... Maybe I'm too superstitious, but they know that tunnel shot is apart of Steph's pregame routine so why tf would they not contruct the arena to accommodate that... Second, the commentary said next sunday when we hosted Phx it would be LGBT night... I have nothing against it... But LGBT in San Fran is fucking hilarious smh I feel like we're getting blownout just off that lol... Lastly on a more serious note, is there any truth to A Wiggins for Dlo trade happening cause this kid is soft bruh I hate to say it but it's true... Dlo said that one day him, Booker and Kat would play together so why not send him on his way to get that started... Plus Wiggins been doing ard since he cut them braids js... Anywho, thank you Alc for being strong for all of us and givibg us top notch content my nigs✌✌✌

Nsikan Usen

Unlike the Warriors' games, you are starting out the season with two GREAT video commentaries. Love your insight and your passion. Right on target, as always. Bravo !!

Fucking love it. Absolute embarrassing slaughter blowouts. I WANT to beleive Kerr is playing 5D chess and not coaching up any kind of defensive plan or system or scheme so they are purposefully getting blown out so they will listen to the coaches more. But yeah, they just fucking suck lol. A step behind on almost every play. Bad instincts. Lack of effort (in at least D-lo's case, but he's not the only one). What do you think Alc?

Major Powers

Have you checked out "NBA STORY TELLER" recent video "The death of the assist"? I have definitely had these views with the assist stat for some time, and this video is fascinating, along with the comparison of past era's of basketball. https://youtu.be/LsmVMIKWOSM

More succinct fix the offense first and be competitive and the defense when you have your 5's back it's the only thing that makes sense.

Steven Stanley

It's ugly, I halfway expected with no healthy center, but even still Cauley-Stein is the only one, I can't fathom why they didn't grab a cet big like Gortat just for size. Everything is hemorrhaging because of that and the trickle down is happening in the other aspects of the game.

Hey no real 5's and the 2 guys you expected to provide interior defense at the 5 aren't going to play for a while which creates a true defensive dumpster fire. What should a coach do in that situation? Well I think I'd make sure that my team was super squared away on the offensive end. This is the opposite of that. The Warriors look like a first season city league team made up of a group of accountants that are used to playing pickup among themselves and don't realize that when they register they need to register to play in the accountants league. Me thinks Chriss doing all that passing to the corners when he's at the rim is because he thinks that's what he is supposed to do. Poole was awful on both ends, look at him trying to find someone to guard at about the 6:15 mark of the 4th quarter....bewildering.

Steven Stanley

I actually got to see this game live which is rare 'cause I live overseas so here are my thoughts: D'Lo - this was the most glaring issue to me, the dude showed NO leadership and peaced the fuck out of the game because we were getting our asses whooped, this moved showed me his true colors and I'm not sure I'll ever get over this... His second fucking game as a Warrior, just completely disrespectful and it's an extremely bad look. Steph - I think Steph would've gone for like 40 if he didn't get so fed up, you could tell already in the first quarter that Steph was mad at the rooks and the whole situation. Look, I get it, it's hard to go from the best team in the league to the worst in 1 season but the way he acted completely demoralized the team, I know Steph isn't a vocal leader but I still expect him to show leadership and push through the crap and get the team off its ass, how can you expect everyone to play hard when the best player in the league stopped playing after the first few minutes? Rooks - Paschall is looking really promising, dude's a dog and once he figures out how to use his body better is gonna be a nice asset. Poole is playing at 200 mph, he's so out of sync, doesn't look good right now, it'll take time. I think this team could turn out being like the Clippers last year in that doggish kind of way if we work hard and play hard. GRob, Paschall, Chriss and Spellman all play hard and if everyone follows by example no one will want to face the 8 seed Warriors. Trying to not overreact but D'Lo has got to go, I just don't like him.

Ezra Abbey

The thing that I’m most disappointed about, albeit 2 games is the culture we are starting to build. This “let’s lay down and face reality” mentality from Steph, Dray and Kerr. Yes we suck but DO something about it...get better and lead the young guys... Regarding D-Lo, I’m worried that if we continue to lose in this fashion, him and Kerr might just butt heads. Let’s not forget D-Lo is still young and may be immature at times.

yea its definitely gonna get worst before it gets better. Tough to watch right now

Matt Hanna

Really dislike Draymond and Kerr's post game comments. Draymond should not be the one to say "we fucking suck right now" when he's a negative on offense. Kerr makes dumb statements just to get a few laughs. DLo had no justification for getting that angry and pretty much choosing to get ejected.

Paradox

I'm more concerned about Kerr normalizing blowouts

Xgatt

Yo Alc any thoughts on Draymond’s post game quotes, talking about how the team sucks and shit?
