But if he balls out to point where he is a legit 23 yr old all star lead guard in the west! Then at some point you would have to consider Steph the assets to build around Dlo... Im getting way ahead of myself here. But I didn't know he was capable of that last night! It would have to be a crazy season from him for this to be on the table. But you keep both and its diminishing returns form both.

Paschall is one of those players that I watch and it doesn't make sense that the ball goes in the hoop but he has made it work. His energy and motor is clear, I just pray he doesn't get injured with his playstyle.

Poole continues to remind me of Kelly Oubre in his showy style and the way he pisses people off. Bowman could be our pat beverley, and they typically stay more even keeled emotionally. For too long it's been Draymond as the only emotional guy who plays like it's life or death out there, Bowman is going to be a great addition. Could easily see him closing games when we need to lock down on defense even when the Splash Brothers return.

How did the refs completely miss Rodney living up to his hood-ass name and taking Poole out behind the play???? Anyways. What a win. What a fight. The team that the Warriors sweep in the WCF comes into their new home thinking they get an easy win against a bunch of no name scrubs....and the Warriors stick one in their gut. I love it. Poole is looking like he is gonna be much more a distributor than a shooter and the Paschall obviously looking amazing. Totally switched expectations for me past draft night! I thought for sure Poole would be the dude dropping 25+ every now and then and then Paschall would be playing D and distributing. But damn Im not complaining. We matched up well against the blazers. Their lack of size outside of Whiteside played to our advantage. Hopefully they can take this momentum into Houston. We'll see how their defense fairs against Russ and Harden. Should be a fun matchup if they dont get blown our or totally screwed over by giving 50 freethrows to harden in the first half.

There will be a player who wants out from this moment we are having this conversation to 365 days from now It's hard to predict who, but with DLO and Dray and a lottery pick, who should be able to create the assets that make our package the most enticing It doesnt have to be an all-star big really if this new young core can develop in the way that we hope it does, especially since we still havent seen Smiley and the current young bigs look promising Maybe its just depth and draft picks we should be looking for, along with getting off of those two huge contracts that have us hard-capped

I was there at the Chase Center for the first time... and man was that awesome! There's something special about watching a team fight so hard, without any of the usual starters, playing with just heart and grit. I loved every moment of it! Now, getting out and back home from there is much more difficult than when it was back at Oracle though. It's a good 1.5 hours on the train that leaves at 10:30.. which is gonna be a rough one to do without a day off the following day or something. I'm pretty dead today.

Honestly love WCS, but the motor thing was an issue in SAC as well. I believe he thought it would improve with competing but now we aint doing that so... Eh give young guys the minutes. Is it weird that I miss these kind of games where I can see the growth of the young guns.

This feels like the Warriors basketball that made me fall in love with this team in 2007 again. Scrappy, energy, not backing down, and a swagger that feels like its meant for Oakland. I actually think JP's attitude and cockiness is good for a crowd/team that doesn't have high expectations. His confidence + a less corporate crowd actually could make for a fun time this season.

Cauley-Stein has all the physical attributes, all the talent in the world...and none of the motor, none of the grit, none of the sheer dogged willingness to suffer that makes one great. So far, anyway. Look for him to be wearing different colors next year. Though to be fair, ANY colors would be good over the Dubs unis tonight. Ugly is too kind a word; the scheme reminds me of the sub-20 win years all over again, so maybe that's why I hated them.

This was SUCH a fun game to watch! Reminds me of the old days of 'the little engine that could'-era Warriors trying to get it together. Couple of questions: #1: Can DLO play at this pace and be effective? #2: If Eric Paschall keeps playing well-what happens when Draymond comes back? Does Eric play the 3 alongside Draymond at 4-or should Paschall come off the bench? This will be interesting. I hope Eric can keep some of this up even while teams learn his tendencies

It's fun to watch amazing talent being showcased in a win, but it's something else entirely watching amazing heart ... will ... commitment ... confidence earn a win, especially against a more talented foe. As a sports watching audience, we have always preferred to see an underdog earn a win through sheer determination and desire. Mr. BSB was absolutely super but if there are not a lot of Warrior fans willing to give Ky Bowman mad props, that would be a damn shame. Ky has a motor, he picks up from 94 on a lot of possessions, he fight screens and makes whomever he is on work, he's the "little" player that get teammates to play harder. Hopefully D-lo sees how much better it is if we push and play with pace....he's the one who needs to adjust.

Cant wait till Poole starts clicking out there cause i think he will end up being a good off ball defender and a great floor spacer as he starts to find himself.
