That was a great breakdown. On the Sherman play, the first penalty... I think that was a mistake on the side judge/ref. When Rodgers breaks the pocket, I think he technically becomes a runner, and it’s technically a savvy play by Sherman because he shoves the wide receiver out of bounds; making him ineligible to catch the ball and basically subtracting him from the play entirely. It shouldn’t have been illegal contact because per the rule book the defender should be allowed to make contact.

Oops sorry commenting before watching! lol. I actually dont have time to watch this right now I will later tonight. All I gotta say right now is damn I didnt expect this! Without Dee Ford, I thought the pressure would slack a little and I expected Rodgers to attack the secondary. But damn Tartt and Ward have really surprised me. I was convinced Ward was a bust and that Tartt sucked the last 2-3 years. Im glad theyre both coming into their own. If Im being honest, the guy whos probably the biggest liability to the secondary is actually Sherman! Obviously his leadership is invaluable, but the dudes penalties has cost the Niners so many points the last two weeks. The 49ers pitch a shut out if not for him, and they might not go down 16-0 hole to the Cards last week. Moseley, Witherspoon, Tartt, Williams, and Ward have been abnormally good. I hope they keep it up vs. Ravens. That game has me very anxious. Lamar is a taller, faster, better Murray, and we all saw what Murray does to them. We need Sanders to stay healthy damnit!!!
