2020-01-14 15:41:51 +0000 UTCToo early to make a decision on Ky, they actually play well together and strengths compliment each other. DLo want be here next year, neither will Burks. That means it’s Steph and Killa, Jordan Poole and Jacob Evans, and Ky and Lee. They will give Ky 1 year to develop and see what Lee looks like the rest of the year. Which means Poole and Evans needs step up their game cause they haven’t given us anything other than some G-League hype.
2020-01-07 22:43:23 +0000 UTCSEEMS LIKE THE FRONT OFFICE MADE THEIR DECISION ON LEE
Anthony Gray
2020-01-07 19:10:53 +0000 UTCBoth??
Kevin Vestergaard
2020-01-07 07:22:23 +0000 UTCi Wouldn’t be mad at us clearing out burks and evans for those 2 roster spots. Getting real tired of Evans I think summer league was fools gold

2020-01-07 03:09:09 +0000 UTCLee has improved over last season and, frankly, I've been impressed by his hustle and his efficacy. Ky has a tenacity to offset the weaker parts of his game, but I think he needs more time to develop. That being said I like both players, but where do we expect them to contribute on a healthy team besides energy/end of bench depth? I voted for Lee simply because when Steph was bottled up by the defense, the offensive vacuum was bewildering and I think Lee brings better offense than Ky at this point. That being said, is there any way we could trade/dump salary and sign both to prorated contracts?
2020-01-06 17:13:43 +0000 UTCyour playoff argument has got me swaying back to Bow...
Athletic Alchemy
2020-01-06 16:26:27 +0000 UTCNeither....I don't think they'll compliment Steph and Klay well when they come back playing major minutes. I'm also against short defenders and hate everything nepotistism. That's why I was happy to lose Quinn Cook.
Walter Kim
2020-01-06 14:03:27 +0000 UTCI just don't think Damion will be there on clutch time. Bowman is new. I think if given time; He'll be an essential piece to our roster.

2020-01-06 08:30:45 +0000 UTCThese folks who say we need more outside shooting in the playoffs seem to forget that with Steph + Klay on the floor, we're not putting more guards next to them, and Lee is not a plus defender. I love Lee as a regular season bench scorer when his high effort will be rewarded. In the playoffs, everyone plays hard and everyone has to play exceptional defense to even get on the floor. Bowman plays full court hard-ass defense. The guy has a great 3 point shoot, is a decent play maker and IS A ROOKIE. 5 years younger than Lee. So much untapped potential in him. He's a dog in the best sort of sense. Reminds me of Fred VanFleet, but more athletic and with a higher motor.

2020-01-06 06:18:04 +0000 UTCI’m glad to see I’m not alone on this. This is a subtle thing, really. I just thing Damian is a bit better for the vibe of the team. They both hustle, play hard and make shots...Ky just seems a bit more like an island out there and Damian seems to lift the morale a little more...I want them both, though.
2020-01-06 06:08:56 +0000 UTCKy is too small. I like him, but even with the full court D you can't play him at the end of games (even if Steph happens to be out)

2020-01-06 05:39:55 +0000 UTCshouldn't the question be: who would you trade or release to make room for Lee?
Jerry Heverly
2020-01-06 04:48:03 +0000 UTCI want both so badly
Edward Zeng
2020-01-06 02:07:52 +0000 UTCQuinn Cook was garbage on d. That's why he ain't getting no run in LA.
Anthony Gray
2020-01-06 01:47:13 +0000 UTCD. Lee is ouchea. We need shooting and Lee can stretch better than Bow. I love Bow's grit and hustle but we need shooters. Lee is one on the cheap.
Anthony Gray
2020-01-06 01:46:29 +0000 UTCI voted to keep both....
2020-01-06 00:44:09 +0000 UTCLove Ky, the hustle he brings helps a lot for our team's effort. But Lee just provides what we need with Klay and Curry back. I would love to keep both.
John Z
2020-01-06 00:16:49 +0000 UTCLee, he can play a forward roll too. We have enough talent in the guard position
2020-01-05 23:32:24 +0000 UTCI woulda kept quinn cook over both these niggas tbh
Zachary Jordan Gunter
2020-01-05 22:53:20 +0000 UTCBowman plus defender in some matchups, Lee plus defender in no matchup.
Steven Stanley
2020-01-05 22:48:11 +0000 UTCNBA contracts are still a mystery to me, but I understand we can't keep both of 'em?
Michel ten Voorde
2020-01-05 22:30:38 +0000 UTCLee is so terrible on defense hard for me to keep him.
2020-01-05 22:05:45 +0000 UTCOne thing that needs to be considered is who can preform in limited minutes. Ky led the NCAA in min per, remember he really didn't start having an impact until he got like 20+ min. Who knows maybe that is his eventual roll. In fact the more I think about it...will this move tells us about their dlo plans? anyway original point was Lee is better suited to contribute in spot minutes.
Athletic Alchemy
2020-01-05 21:58:21 +0000 UTCWould have went with Bowman a month or two back but Lee have has been ballin as of late also been active defensively and he's 6'6 as apposed to 6'2 in Ky so he can switch more comfortably... And last but not least, he's Steph's brother-in-law so yeah, I'd go with Lee
Nsikan Usen
2020-01-05 21:56:01 +0000 UTCIm with that..not sure anybody would take him TBH
Athletic Alchemy
2020-01-05 21:53:51 +0000 UTCtrue..Bow seems capable of spacing but will he? Obviously I have been complaining about his lack of pulling the trigger lately. You would think he'd be looking to make a statement right now.
Athletic Alchemy
2020-01-05 21:53:15 +0000 UTCYeah I do keep waiting for him to come back down to earth..IDK!
Athletic Alchemy
2020-01-05 21:51:06 +0000 UTChis catch and shoot corner 3s seem to be money.. Im torn..Lee has played that well.
Athletic Alchemy
2020-01-05 21:50:27 +0000 UTCMy worry with Lee is does his effort go back down once he is secure. Bow seems like a more natural effort guy.
Athletic Alchemy
2020-01-05 21:48:54 +0000 UTCAgh, such a tough decision. For the future, I'm choosing to keep Bowman. Lee is great for what we need now and would be a good sub for Steph with his skills. But if we are looking for longevity I'm going with Bowman.
David Liao
2020-01-05 21:44:29 +0000 UTCwe finally have guys that can back up steph and klay.
andrew ian scott
2020-01-05 21:36:23 +0000 UTCi dont think either is going but jacob evans is gone. probably for a 2nd round pick.
andrew ian scott
2020-01-05 21:35:19 +0000 UTCYa'll are overvaluing Lee because of a few hot games. Gotta look at the big picture. Bowan: younger, better D, more tools in the toolkit, and honestly, if you go look, just as good from 3 percentage wise (with a higher ceiling).
Major Powers
2020-01-05 21:31:45 +0000 UTCBowman is younger. Lee is 27
Branden Edwards
2020-01-05 21:25:40 +0000 UTCWhen has his height been an issue?he's tenacious on defense has a poor mans pat bev cp3 effect and athletic enough to front bigs in the paint and is good in the pnr. Can pass and shoot. definitely a difference maker off the bench
DLP
2020-01-05 21:25:25 +0000 UTCBowman. He's younger with a higher ceiling
Branden Edwards
2020-01-05 21:25:09 +0000 UTCLee is a better shooter, end of the story. What killed us last year was the floor spacing, and players like Cook and Bowman who can shoot, but aren't great shooters, don't solve that. Lee moves without the ball and can sorta create for himself, I think it's a better fit, even though I really like Bowman too.
José Francisco
2020-01-05 21:23:11 +0000 UTCUnsure who out of the two will be able to sustain the progress they've made. If Lee can maintain his shooting next year, then definitely him. Bowman is great with his full court defense, shooting, and hustle, but his height has been an issue as well.
2020-01-05 21:19:06 +0000 UTCpause
DLP
2020-01-05 21:18:00 +0000 UTCYou keep Ky bc he is more talented and has a higher ceiling as a backup pg. Dlee is playing for his bball career and is doing a lot of overachieving but has come along way as a nba player he will be good but if you have to chose 1 it has to be ky
DLP
2020-01-05 21:16:58 +0000 UTCIsn't Lee much younger? I'd go with potential
Ivan (Vanya) Kashperuk
2020-01-05 21:07:45 +0000 UTCThe only thing that bugs me about Lee is the guy fucking clanks layups like some try-hard meth-head 40 year old at the rec center. I think I have to go with Bowman. His career 3% is actually better than Lee's to date. Honestly I think Bowman can develop into a floor spacer. His shot doesn't look awful to me.
Major Powers
2020-01-05 21:05:21 +0000 UTCNeed guard defense or shooting? Hmm
Paradox
2020-01-05 21:04:10 +0000 UTCBowman for his D and energy. Good question though.
Aceec
2020-01-05 21:03:46 +0000 UTChonestly i had bowman at first but lee has been ballin more, i do love bowmans fullcourt defense
Tony Stark
2020-01-05 21:02:49 +0000 UTCLee starting to cool down while bowman steady with that defense
Nev
2020-01-05 21:01:51 +0000 UTCWe already have dlo and steph, and JP is developing. I’ll only keep bowman if we trade Dlo for a good forward. Dlo is young and we have years on his contract tho.
Long
2020-01-05 21:01:29 +0000 UTCWe have steph and dray to handle the ball. Could use a third ball handler but relatively easy to get one on a mininum deal. You can never have too many catch and shoot hustle guys like Damion Lee.

2020-01-05 21:00:29 +0000 UTCD lee for spacing Ky for Defense
