Morgana x Haru - pre comic sketches and thumbnails

I always think of semi-realistic or anime to be a weakpoint of mine (since I think myself to be more of a cartoonist), so I did some preparations before jumping into this commission. Just looking up some high resolution references and taking some time to just study the character designs and from a few angles really helped getting the idea of 'em. (was a bit hard cus the most common references of these characters have details hidden in hard shadows)
