I'd feel more confident if we could flip DLo in the off season for a 2-way star wing or top-shelf center and keep the pick for the next generation but... Yeah we'll see. I think we both agree the team has some exciting potential in their young guys and new members.

2020-02-02 22:22:29 +0000 UTCA lot of Warriors fans (and media) are still down on Poole but every time I watch him play I see a guy who belongs in this league and is going to have a long career. The kid has good natural instincts and ability. Confidence and poise. Can clearly make all the shots (just needs more reps to develop consistent shooting). I like his defense already. Like his size and quickness. I really like him in either guard role. I like him off-ball and on-ball. He's also a positive guy who's great for the locker room and culture.

Goddamn, we have so much potential on the bench for next year, and if these guys all blossom, we'd have one of the deepest benches in the league. EDIT: What do you think, Alch? You see the same potential I see? On our best nights, what would be our 3rd-stringer guys are competing hard against the best in the NBA and forcing them to the wire, to OT, or holding leads going into the 4th. Am I seeing illusions and the same false hope when Cohan clutched the team in his basketball-hating hands...or am I seeing something real?

I just donβt see what everyone else whoβs had him on their team before is talking about in terms of his flaws in his personality. Maybe Draymond is really taking him under his wing and teaching him how to channel his fiery personality to the court but I hope heβs a warrior for many years to come.
