Patreon has decided it's time for another negative review.

a post got flagged for not meeting community guidelines, so here we are, again. Of course these community guidelines don't apply to paying members, rules designed to be broken for a price. Bleh. I deleted the offending post and the associated monetised post. I am the content creator, I decide what is and isn't monetised.

It's become very popular practice to limit supply to raise prices, I think more is better, if there is not enough of something then it's worthless. There are some individual posts I would like to put a price on, it's a good way for people to show their support without long term commitment, yet Patreon still doesn't allow me access to this feature.

It would be nice to format posts more attractively, encouraging viewers to read and scroll. Unfortunately Patreon has decided that only images in the gallery aren't downscaled, so I don't do it.

A poll might be nice but yeah we can't have images in those either, no visual stimuli = no interest.

There are a lot of other problems, maybe these will be mentioned if there is need for further review. For a platform that's been around so long it's remarkably underdeveloped, the word lazy comes to mind but I guess it's good there is plenty of room for competition.

monetisation is fine and necessary but my inbox is filled daily with nothing but blurred out images, it's off putting. I'd rather supporters get the best quality content, not just anything that might cross over a lewd paywall threshold.

I don't mind paying a small monthly fee if the content is good (has what I like in terms of quality and quantity). On patron I'm always looking for beautiful ecchi images for my digital collection and for wallpapers.
