Kai sang in all the songs for the Exist album. He was already practicing and preparing for EXO's comeback until he got word of his sudden enlistment. He enlisted a few weeks before Cream Soda was filmed, but he has solo parts in the bridge and at the end of the song. In live performances, Baekhyun and Chen cover his parts.

Thank you for your time and consideration of our guys!! They generally give Chen the highest notes. Baekhyun is usually the one who kills the adlibs while D.O. kills the scale runs. But, they can do it all. As you probably saw in the guide, which I'm looking forward to soooooo much. You still have no idea just how good they are live. Someday we should get you to watch EXO vocals are no joke or another live vocal melody compilation video. Many fans, including myself, like live performances better than the studio versions. Some artists depend too much on the beat and music. EXO are not like that." for me that's the best complement a singer or an artist could get. and for me it's real. give them 1 acoustic guitar and watch how they go. they are even good at acapella. theres a song in their latest album, EXIST titled "No Makeup" that song music track is like almost non existent but my goodness EXO delivered the whole track perfectly. i hope later u can try listen to it and more exo b-sides. If u like acoustic guitar , Sing For You and WAIT are the songs to listen too.
