2023-07-28 02:06:38 +0000 UTCNothing against XG or their talented members, but they aren't K-Pop, so not really fitting for a "K-Pop" poll assuming this is what that poll is meant to be. XG are a japanese group under a japanese label stationed in South Korea "using" the K-Pop system, formula and popularity to produce english songs targeting the international (mainly american) market. They describe themselves as global group (not K-Pop, not J-Pop). EDIT: To give a bit context about the K-Pop girl groups on the poll: Since you already reacted to New Jeans (Ador), IVE (Starship) should be next in my opinion. Those two groups currently play in a league of their own and are considered to be the biggest of the "4th gen monster rookie groups". IVE for example won "Best Song Of The Year" and "Best Group (Female)" for 2022 at the MMA end of last year. NMIXX (JYP) and Le Sserafim (HYBE) would be the two other very important new "4th Gen monster rookie groups". aeaspa (SM) and Itzy (JYP) are part of 4th Gen as well, but had their debut earlier before the current "age of girl groups / monster rookies" (starting 2021 with IVE) and are more in line with (G)I-DLE (Cube). Twice (JYP) of course is 3rd Gen K-Pop and part of the "Big 3" (SM, JYP, YG) besides Blackpink (YG) and Red Velvet (SM). Those three are the most important 3rd Gen girl groups that you should know. You're missing Red Velvet on the poll btw. If we go a bit further back into 2nd Gen K-Pop... the "Big 3" (SM, JYP, YG) for 2nd K-Pop would be Girls Generation (SM), 2NE1 (YG) and Wondergirls (JYP). Girls Generation "The nations girl group" might be the most influential K-Pop group in K-Pop history more or less defining the "modern" K-Pop system and leading 2nd Gen K-Pop girl groups. So here Girls Generation should be the priority in my opinion.
