Changes to NJB Patreon - Bonus Videos & New Tier

Hello Patreon supporters! I hope you're having a good day.

I wanted to let you know that I'll be making some changes to the Patreon, and you may want to remove or change your pledge as a result.

First, bonus videos. I've been making a new bonus video almost every month for over a year. There are now 13 of them, but they're hardly watched at all. There are a few reasons for this: Patreon's interface kinda sucks, and it's hard to find stuff if you miss a notification. But also, there isn't a huge amount of interesting in bonus videos from Patreon supporters.

I sent emails to 1,000 Patreon supporters asking them why they signed up, and only 3 even mentioned the bonus videos.

Honestly, these aren't really worth my time for only ~300 people to view them. So I've decided to stop making bonus videos for Patreon, and instead, I'm going to make a monthly video for Nebula, instead.

I still want a place to release videos that I either don't want on YouTube, or that would not do well on YouTube, and Nebula is the perfect place for that.

If you're disappointed to be missing out on Bonus videos, don't be. You can drop your Patreon pledge and sign up to Curiosity Stream for US$14.79 for the first year, and get Nebula for free. It's less than you're probably paying on Patreon, and you get access to other Nebula creators as well. And I get paid more than Patreon pays me for your payment, too. Second, I've had a LOT of technical glitches with Patreon, especially with messages. So I'm sorry if I missed any messages from you. You might want to send your message again if I haven't responded in a while. I'm actually not super-happy with Patreon, so let me know if there are other platforms you use for other creators that you prefer.

And finally, I've added a new tier to Patreon: "autoluw" tier for €250/month. It's really quite excessive, but several people have asked me for a tier above "Train", so here it is. I'm not going to judge what you do with your money. 😂
