OK, decision made

After chewing my fingernails and thinking about it a LOT for the past 48 hours or so, I've decided that the best way to approach this is to do the original "pirate attack" demo with a few minutes' worth of peaceful wander-around-get-your-bearings simple quest stuff at the beginning, and an action-packed timed escape scene at the end. I think this is the best of all the aspects I can include in the demo, to show, generally, how the thing will be, in the smallest package possible and within my own capabilities.


It will start off with you waking up, needing your morning coffee, and then heading to the warp reactor, where you will launch the ship and then be attacked by pirates on arrival. You will arm up, head towards the bridge to rescue the captain, and then after you have safely rescued a handful of endangered tourists, you will have to escape through the remains of the exploding ship while both you and the pirates retreat to the aft airlock.


Sort of a 3-part demo: quests, action-platform, runner.
