Progress Update

- spending about a week and a half, trying to recover my old data and programs, then readjusting them to fit over what I thought was a incompatibility between OS versions and my pc only to discover that the expensive overcharging 'repairman' did not only not find the cause of my initial Windows malfunction - that just a free usb boot could have fixed - but actually swapped my ram with a lower quality card. thus follows *pic related*
In a good way this dissipates the creeping depression I was gaining from questioning why I couldn't draw for crap the whole time but to be honest I should have discovered it the moment I had to turn off hardware acceleration for my typing app...........orz
I can only say thank you all for being patient with me.......this has only just been.....-sigh.
Still looking for a new setup/parts. Even when the sales turn out not to be scalpers they end up flaking me in the end for scalp paying buyers. What's worse is the new graphic cards are affecting the sale of everything so even when looking for 'just a substitution' I end up still being screwed.
In a, sort of, wierd silver lining, I might of just discovered that it may have been the previous ram stick that may have been the cause of this all, as I could only describe the use of this guy as 'behaving'....at least it doesn't feel like I'm on the verge of freezing ever so often. You know, aside from looking like the laptop will physically fall apart at any second.
