Practice and july pic

As I get better at drawing and more confident with the software I use, my poor anatomical knowledge and lack of gesture and pose practice is becoming more and more apparent, slowing down the sketching phase by a lot.

I have decided to go back to step 0 and learn the anatomical fundamentals that I am missing. Here are some of the practice sheets I've done, one of which will likely be used for the july pic.

I am doing this now because the first steps benefit considerably from having a pc, and will land me in a better position to practice on paper while i'm on vacation.

I'm getting some progress on the july pic during practice, but this is by far the hardest composition to date, so it will take time.
