2024-08-21 19:54:00 +0000 UTCwith distortion what matters most is eqing the input of the distortion so what i often do is super aggressive notch filters in the low end to pretty much fully cut out the 100hz kinda range whilst also turning down the fundamental, this makes distortion a lot cleaner also sorry been super busy this month, im back in england on friday so i’m gonna be starting lessons from then

A lot of times my top synths end up sounding dry or not interesting enough and the distortion doesn't smash the two perfectly. this may be a long topic but just was wondering. also are you still doing lessons? left you a twitter DM but all good if not. thanks!
