2024-01-27 Fossano prima sfilata CARNEVALE

Ciao miei Patreon,

sono le ore 20.30 e sono appena rientrata da una lunga giornata lavorativa: il Carnevale di Fossano è stato un pomeriggio pieno di colori, musica e coriandoli!

Già, coriandoli in ogni dove e sicuramente sono finiti anche nelle mutandine ( se mai le ho indossate!). 

Oggi ho deciso di vestirmi con abiti steampunk per immergermi meglio nello spirito carnevalesco; un concorso con 8 carri allegorici molto belli alcuni dei quali provenienti da grandi carnevali come Cento e Viareggio, vincitori di primi posti.

Nonostante i colori e l'allegria, non ci dobbiamo dimenticare che oggi è una giornata molto importante: 27 gennaio giornata della memoria per commemorare le vittime dell'Olocausto. E a loro modo anche i carri di carnevale riportavano qualche immagine o pensiero dedicato a questa giornata come il papavero simbolo di memoria e speranza. 

Ricordare per non dimenticare e cercare in qualche modo di coinvolgere, condividere e includere chi è diverso da noi anche in un Carnevale che può sembrare apparentemente staccato dal 27 gennaio.

E' stata una giornata da ricordare per la bellezza che ho potuto vedere negli occhi di chi ci ha messo il cuore nel rendere speciale ogni singolo momento.

It's 8.30pm and I've just returned from a long working day: the Fossano Carnival was an afternoon full of colours, music and confetti!

Already confetti everywhere and it definitely ended up in my panties too (if I ever wore them!). Today I decided to dress in steampunk clothes to better immerse myself in the carnival spirit; a competition with 8 very beautiful floats, some of which come from large carnivals such as Cento and Viareggio, winners of first places.

Despite the colors and joy, we must not forget that today is a very important day: January 27th is a day of remembrance to commemorate the victims of the Holocaust. 

And in their own way, even the floats carried some image or thought dedicated to this day such as the poppy, symbol of memory and hope.

 Remember so as not to forget and try in some way to involve, share and include those who are different from us even in a Carnival that may seem apparently detached from January 27th.

It was a day to remember for the beauty that I could see in the eyes of those who put their hearts into making every single moment special.
