Ciao Patreon come state?

stavo pensando a quanto i viaggi riempiano la nostra vita anche a livello di curiosità. Riguardando qualche fotografia, mi sono ritrovata a ripercorrere i viaggi fatti e a ricordare quanto fosse bello scoprire senza avere la certezza di quello che c'era oltre: un promontorio, una piazza, una baia.

E mi sono accorta che sicuramente un posto è affascinante quando lo si conosce per la prima volta, la seconda diciamo che è un pò più scontata.

Mi appresto a partire per Amsterdam la prossima settimana e mi chiedo se dopo tanti anni riuscirà a stupirmi come la prima volta o se in qualche modo il ricordo di quello visto mi pregiudicherà qualche emozione.

Voi cosa ne pensate? Trovate che i viaggi fatti anche negli stessi posti siano stati comunque fascinosi e pieni di sorprese?

I was thinking about how much travel fills our lives also in terms of curiosity. Looking back at some photographs, I found myself retracing the trips I had taken and remembering how beautiful it was to discover without being certain what lay beyond: a promontory, a square, a bay.

And I realized that a place is certainly fascinating when you get to know it for the first time, the second time let's say it's a little more obvious.

I am preparing to leave for Amsterdam next week and I wonder if after so many years it will be able to amaze me like the first time or if in some way the memory of what I saw will affect some of my emotions.

What do you think about it? Do you find that the trips you took, even to the same places, were still fascinating and full of surprises?
