Resident Evil 4 remake patch reminder
Added 2023-09-20 08:37:40 +0000 UTCA quick reminder that RE4R will get a big patch later today or tomorrow. To avoid any potential trouble, I suggest having all mods uninstalled before you start downloading the patch.
If you do have mods installed when you install the patch, I suggest doing the following to ensure your game install is clean:
- Uninstall all mods
- Right-click the game in Steam and click on Properties->Installed Files->Verify file integrity of game files
- Once the above is done, go to the mod manager and click on "Re-read game archives"
If you find that many mods don't work after the patch, then those mods are probably not compatible with the latest version and you'll have to wait for mod authors to update their mods. This is most likely to affect gameplay-changing mods rather than cosmetic mods.

I'd need to update that mod. It might take a bit of time before I get around to it as right now I can't actually run the Separate Ways DLC at all. I own the Japanese version of the game but I'm struggling to buy the Japanese version of the DLC. I can only buy the English version and that's not compatible.

2023-09-22 23:50:24 +0000 UTCHey do you know if r3 had an update recently? cause I am trying to play with a mod for Non RT build but for some reason it does that thing where Jill is floating with her head and what not . Now my version of re3 is Non RT with Direct X 11 but for some reason I still get that memo that its not working correctly. Is there something im doing wrong or did RE3 get updated recently?
