I'm so glad that they eventually got through the bs and were able to make this movie a reality! I can imagine it was pure hell trying to get this released at the time. I don't imagine Paramount were complaining all too much once the cheques were coming in lol It's nice to know i can count on you for some South Park lore Almas. Makes me appreciate the show even more knowing they what hell they've been through in trying to make their visions a reality.

Cloony also voiced Stan's gay dog in Season 1

And before I forget again, doctor who operated Kenny, who usually voiced by Trey, was voiced by George Cloony. Cloony actually one of few actors who have friendly relations with Trey and Matt. Hell, he supported there show since the very beginning. And the best part is that he is not immune from not been parodied in their works. And Cloony is completely cool when they making fun of him.

P.P.S. This film took place between Seasons 3 and 4.

P.S. Satan’s “Up There” is the best song of whole film. Fight me, if you disagree. Lyrics and execution was outstanding.

As life taught me, there is no “good” studio in the world. Especially in Hollywood. And Paramount Pictures is no exception. This studio saw rise and falls, they keep mistreating their employees sometimes and tricking customers. Not to mention some of their movie they made in the past could not be acceptable nowadays. Nonetheless, I am very glad out of all studios they gave Trey and Matt, back then “freaky and edge graduates” a chance to make South Park. Yes, South Park franchise belongs to Paramount Pictures because they owned Comedy Central. It does not mean studio bosses make their job easier, though. And Bigger, Longer and Uncut is perfect example. Trey and Matt really had to put teeth and nails into fight to make this film real. It still one of their finest work, motivated by desire of young directors to say “F@ck you” to entire filmmaking industry. Yet, they also really wanted to make a musical the way they view it. As Matt said, quite, “A musical that will make nobody fell asleep and keeping of attention. And there still no better way than challenging public views on status quo and anything what folks this day stands for.”, and quite. And in the day of the day, about 99.2%of original draft of this film made it way in theatres. Remain 0.8% were either cut off or changed. As you already know, they tried so hard to convince studio to leave name of film, so it will be referring to “d1ck”. The rest are unknown for public. But even what left was enough to leave it mark in history as most offended, but entertaining adult animated film of American cinematography. Oh, and “Blame Canada” somehow made it way to Oscar Nomination, which allowed Trey and Matt make appearances in Big League… And, oh boy, they did not missed such juicy opportunity. Trey little regretted what they did, since it was actually embarrassing. While Matt regretted because they could make it “better”. In the end of the day, despite all beef sometimes pumping out between studio and creators, Paramount took good care of South Park. I can at least be grateful for that. Recently Trey and Matt signed additional contract with studio to make multiple separate films for Paramount Plus. COVID trilogy (if we take final episode of season 24) was a bomb. Streaming Wars was pretty good in deferent way. I really like to view what will came up next.

It's been a while since I've seen the movie, I forgot how brilliant it is At around 1 hour, when Sheila gives her speech and say "The MPA says, horrificican deplorable violence is ok, as long as nobody says any naughty words" that's a huge meta joke. The MPA is the Motion Picture Association and Matt and Trey had an endless back end forth with them about the movie's rating. It was also original be called South Park: Hell on Earth, but apperently they didn't approve the word "Hell". They changed it to Bigger, Longer and Uncut ... and the MPA didn't catch the double entendre and approved it.
