Like I said, I'm here to bring you the behind the scenes of the Frith Chronicles comic. This is Volke's template! Please remember that this is Volke BEFORE he merges with Luthair, and while he's still a Gravedigger. His clothing (and shovel) reflect that, haha
He's taller than the other characters, and hopefully appropriate lanky. Since he's 15, and yet to do all his training to be an amazing arcanist, he should look more "normal guy" than "awesome hero" so that as he changes throughout the series, we see it reflected in the artwork.
Given all that, I think he looks pretty cool! Definitely a gravedigger who is done with everyone's BS, lol

He should look determined here (more than angry). He default emotion throughout more of the beginning of book 1 was “I’m going to be an Arcanist no matter what” type of thing. 🎉🎊

2024-07-09 18:46:39 +0000 UTCI never got the impression that Volke had any angst or resentment, I jut got his deep desire to be an Arcanist. This is not how I envisioned Volke. This seems much too angry for Volke. Did I get the wrong impression?
