Well overdue update!! - Rogues finished, Kingsguard progress and some general stuff!

Hey all!  so December has been really busy and hard work for me so far and I apologise its taken me this long to get an update out.  I want to say a huge thank you to all of you that have stuck with me through all of this despite the lack of communication and the absence of models for the last couple of months.  

I've had to home school my son for 2 weeks because a child in his class had COVID and the whole class had to self isolate for 14 days.  Its put me a bit more behind just as I was catching up unfortunately.  I've managed to get the rogues done now though and I'm just finishing the supports on them and the rangers.  I'll get both sets uploaded to MyMiniFactory over the next few days and circulated to everyone that subscribed during their relative months.   For those of you that missed them and want to get hold of them, I'll be putting up a 50% discount code for the rest of December and throughout January in the next post.

I've been working on the Next instalment for the Kingsguard which I'll be able to offer up shortly too.  Technically the Kingsguard are just one unit from the army - the elite personal guard of the King.  They are actually a part of the army of the Kingdom of Talarius.  

The guys rendered up in grey are the Light infantry - more lightly armoured troops which will make up a large portion of the mainstay troops.  All of these poses are still WIP and may change significantly yet - the bottom row second from the right particularly I think is going to change a fair bit as I'm not happy with the legs.  They'll be available with halberds and will form the basis of a unit of archers also.  Maybe some mounted on unarmoured Rokabos too.....we'll see how I'm doing for time!

The next 3 sets of Knightly orders are also in the design process - the order of the Dragon to be led by Kain Highwind.  The Order of the Behemoth and the Order of the Mantis.  These 3 will be released in January.  I'll be sculpting them over the coming weeks and they'll be getting posed up by Ty Mansfield so I can focus on more sculpting.  

The Kickstarter for the Kingsguard which I'm still planning to run in February will feature the following list of minis.  Those underlined have not bee completed yet:

The awesome Adam Dodge at Pagan Miniatures has also offered to get some of the Talarians painted up for me in a Kings Of War format showing off some multi basing and assembling them into a game legal army.  Adam's going to be a busy man over Christmas and the new year and my X10 is going to be running like crazy to get them all printed off for him!

Commission Work

I've been working on a few commissions too which I can't disclose yet but they'll be available soon and I'll share the renders and sale location information as soon as I'm able.  One which I can now disclose but which isn't available at present is the Westfalia 3D set I sculpted for their December releases.  A set of Saracen skeleton warriors!  They're not up in the store yet but head over and check them out - render of the set below

On a final note, My office is pretty much done now and with the wife and kids breaking up for Christmas today, if I stay in the house I'll get nothing done between now and New Year, so i'll be moving my stuff into the office this weekend to have a fresh start on Monday with a bit of peace and quiet to work in.  they're not banned from my office and its only about 30m from the house but it should be enough of a deterrent!!!  I'll put some photos up on a post once its presentable!
