Can't fault you on the sentiment. I get it was started with good intentions. But it's just modern day witch-hunt now.

2020-11-07 00:54:18 +0000 UTCI can appreciate that they tried making the statue in the classical-Greek style, at the very least. There's no doubt in anyone's mind that Medusa was, in fact, a victim. And whatever her circumstances after the fact were, be it peaceful or evil, we shouldn't forget Perseus' side of the story either. The only reason he got sent to kill her is because his enemy wanted to force his mother into an unwanted married, Such a union likely could've turned into an abusive relationship, making his mother just as much a victim in her own right. So it seems task-backwards to think of Perseus as the aggressor when he was just trying to be a good son.
