We're looking also for stories on intersections of tech, medicine, and race; content from Indigenous writers; reported stories on election issues in places like South Carolina, Arkansas, Kentucky, West Virginia, Texas, Mississippi; stories about the border; education.
As an arts and soul editor, I'm specifically looking for stories that include the writers' personal perspectives, opinions and stakes. I'm always looking for good coverage and reviews of Southern music and visual artists.
