June WIP #1

Everybody likes a bit of a body guard, especially undead generals with 4 arms.  More soon!

Oops mybad. I printed and painted them at the sqme time as the morkborg goblins and conflated the two in my head!

We've done a land of the Dead release with some skellies, but that wasn't Mork Borg.

Wyrm Forge

morkborg skellies?

Z-Adam Trumble

These are a nice addition to the set of Morkborg Skellies!

Or....MAGIC! Maybe not +1 but something reflected in the materials such as never needing sharpened, better materials, etc. ;)

my necromancer gives her skeletons fancy new equipment. so they can better do her bidding.

Dwayne Hinton

I have that old little kitchen knife that I heat up and then I apply cuts. That works really well for me.

Wyrm Forge

It depends on the resin, but generally speaking, yes, resin is more brittle. But it is certainly not impossible to use the knife to make it look damaged and worn. Might be easy to use Meshmixer or something similar to change the spears before printing too.

Álvaro Sánchez Gómez

Applying some rust at the painting stage will sort that out!

Gary Francis

New spears for dead guards? That's a reward for a guard that lets himself get killed? XD ;) But jokes aside: Since I have zero experience with 3D printed minis: do they work the same way as plastic minis when taking a knife to them? I was under the impression that 3D printed models are more brittle and tend to snap. Is that worse with resin prints or filament?

Tim Albers

1. Because they got their spears after being brought back to life? 2. Maybe they're made of Mithril or some other sturdy stuff? 3. Take a knife and cut them a bit if they look too clean?

Wyrm Forge

The spears look way to sharp... if the bodies and clothes rotted why is there no pitting on the blades?
