Here I am reporting to you from a cybercafe, one of the last few in town and are essentially e-sports training and recruiting centers. I'm wary of keyloggers and spyware but I have little choice else.
The good news is my laptop is fixed, it's at the shop now and had just withstood a whole-day dry run, it should be working fine now and will buy me another year.
The bad news is the second trip back to the tech center incurred extra repairs to the MOBO, adding to the initial quotation of $55 to $90. I'm just waiting for patreon to be done processing so I can top off my repair balance.
Then I'm gonna have to go HAM on commissions to prepare for my eventual upgrade, set aside enough for new hardware.
In the meantime, just before the tablet's untimely demise, I had spent a few days experimenting and coloring. A little birdy suggested I try doing MLP, they've better chances of selling as finished pieces. So I did, and of course I went the non-conventional route.
What I've done since the last Tabcam update:
- Umbrum ponies, anthro and feral
- Background gryphons Natalya and Giselle, prolly gonna do more
- FINALLY finished Samurai Jack piece, a dozen literal failures later
Continuing the poni trend, I'm gonna try Miss Cord and some Chrysalis design experiments (just read the comics and bug queen was apparently born from a rotten tree)
