Kaiju Keijo
Added 2016-12-19 20:11:17 +0000 UTCIn a typical TV tropes-esque 6-degrees, one thing led to another and I spent the last few hours reading what Keijo is all about. Ya know, that butt sumo anime / manga.
All because I had a wordplay stuck in my head: Kaiju Keijo
My gut-reaction idea was to reimagine Gypsy Danger and Knifehead's fight as butt sumo on an aircraft carrier's deck but after letting that sit for a while, I could do more, maybe better.
Thing is I'm not knowledgeable in sentai or tokusatsu, only as recent as 'handsome' Godzilla and Pacific Rim.
I sometimes roam around Toys R Us, a habit I picked up while in animation to see what's trending based on merch and season, and there's a kaiju isle with I think are Ultraman monsters (and I know none of their names.)
So would anyone like to suggest a pairing, kaiju VS kaiju? Jaeger VS kaiju? (HIP ROCKETS!)
