progress slow, slight computer trouble

Battery has konked proper. charge meter is stuck at 91%, will depower if I unplug, and seems to be running a little hotter than usual if RealTemp readings are accurate.

This is the first unit I've used with an internal battery so I'm not sure if I'm using it right, been keeping it plugged in. With the older laptops I just eject the power pack,

It's sunday morning. my usual shop is not open today and I've called the local licensed Acer service center (because their website's request form is 50 shades of ballsacks).

They cannot be bothered to look into my situation because my Aspire is an american model and I'm not under warranty anymore, so it's like I'm not a worthwhile customer.

Just have a few left to color, the rest can stand on their own in B&W.

If this takes any longer, or if my laptop totally fries, I'll pause for next month to sort things out. I saved a bit, I'm good for a replacement within the mid-range workhorse models, nothing fancy, and should probably buy local this time.
