Hang tight, working on an upgrade

COVID lockdown is starting to ease up. Yesterday was the first day of Conditional Movement Controlled Order, basicly recovery phase.

Non essentials are starting to open up, that includes compy tech shops. I'm giving it a few days before I go out and explore my options, maybe the bigger places need to reassess their SOP and situation before opening up. I know for sure a smaller tech shop is open until 5pm, as a backup.

For a little over a week I've been limiting my computer time to a few hours a day, do work then show down. Keeping things cool, trying to extend my hard drive's life. Now I can look forward to replacing the weak link in my work process and it's good for another 3 years.

Currently backing up all my important shiz, I'm gonna be away for a few days to hunt for said HDD, and then the long annoying process of re-installing everything I need to work normally again.
