Farewell 2018, hello 2019

2018 was rough. Looking back, gained some, lost a lot, wishing I could do more. Welp, here's another 365 days to get things done!
New thing I learned is The Pause. Don't think such thing existed when I first joined but damned if I ain't grateful for it. The break in December did me lots of good; I rested and recalibrated, got my head screwed on right for things ahead.
Should I fall sick and cannot meet quota, I will activate The Pause, rather than force myself to get something done.
So what's the plan for 2019?
- Cintiq GET. Just a bit more to go.
- With Cintiq GOTTEN, get some animation done. At least 1 animated short by year's end.
- Quality over Quantity. Draw more complete pieces, with BG and decoration, rather than simpler pieces that later merge into a set.
- Use better paper, the thicker stuff, so it's presentable to give, or sell, the annual folios full of copy paper are starting to take up space.
- Get some merch out. Prints. Shirts, Artbooks. Self-printed mini comics. Hand-made Dragon Pillar segment keychain. Gotta expand my prospects, ya know.
As of today, here's the to-do to do:
1.) Sonic Cranked extras, consisting of
- Robotnik
- Scratch
- Grounder
- Generic Badnik / Eggbot (and internal view of 'living battery' animal)
- Cream & Cheese
- Blaze
- Amy Rose
- Optional: Mighty armadillo, Espio chameleon, Vector croc, Charmy bee, Nack weasel, Ray squirrel, Bunnie rabbot
Ideally I want to prioritize the retro crew.
2.) Dizborne extras:
- Orphan of Kos x Ortensia
- Amygdala x Donald Duck
- Ludwig x Ludwig
- NPC hunters: Gaston, and Clayton from Tarzan
My 1 trouble is matching up Ebrietas, very few characters rhyme with 'tas', 'das', 'bri', let alone female to theme with 'Daughter of Cosmos'.
And that's what it looks like, for at least the first few months of 2019, aside from the random popping up of new ideas.
It's 4am and I'm burning moonlight, I must be off to create!
