what to do with a scraper bot
Added 2019-06-02 08:48:40 +0000 UTCpretty sure i found a scraper bot, or is a hit-n-run pledger. when i checked yesterday, it pledged to some half dozen creators, now it's just me, probably waiting for the latest files to drop.
on one hand, whoever it is has paid their CUF so even if their intentions are untoward, the door fee has been paid.
on the other hand, it has ripped the last 6 months of stuff. i bet it's still ripping, even temp posts like these, until May's packs goes up.
what are your thoughts? what should we do about it?

I've heard of them and have wondered how to deal with them. The "specially" marked versions Is something I approve of.

2019-06-02 15:34:43 +0000 UTCThat is... unfortunately stuff that happens... all that you can do is to send them a message personally asking what are their intentions and please not to post your stuff elsewhere. You *could* send them a special version of the rewards that has been batch altered with some program to leave a specific steganography signature ( https://www.openstego.com/ ), or give them a slightly differently sized version of the images (remove 3 pixels from the blank space), that way, if you see your image posed elsewhere you can verify where it came from. I know you value your time, so these are the least time-intensive versions, you can do this every time you see somebody who acts suspicious and give a special version to them only.
