I've forgotten how to start a DD when I post it in a normal hour... huh.


This weekend has been really productive. I was going to rest a bit but you know me... I worked on something that when I first looked at it I thought it was going to give me headaches but it hasn't.


I've been working on the new Gold Valley map! Actually when I looked at the map editor half a year or so ago when I first wanted to design the Gold Valley map.... it seemed very complicated... after testing and looking at it in detail for a while it turns out that it's more a matter of patience and having a clear idea of the map you want to make.

After 3 days working, for me, the result is really good. As always, as I make more maps in the future the quality will improve. Oh, right, the quality of the map ingame is full HD.

Additionally, Dread gave me the idea of animating the "fog" but after doing some tests... I discarded it. Not only because of the work it requires but also because of the size it would imply.


Instead, I came up with something else:

This animation makes a complete cycle until the clouds disappear (left to right) and after a few seconds they appear again (loop). There are a total of 5 different animations that are decided randomly when you open the map. In the future when I include more immersion with the seasons it will also rain and snow and I will try to animate that as well.


But it doesn't end here... as I said, the weekend has been productive.

First, I added a QoL to each location.

Apart from a bit of extra information (there will be more in the future), I added something that I thought was quite interesting (many games have it but I wanted to make it LA style). From now on you will be able to know where the girls are at all times, just select a place and you will be able to see the girls that are in that place at that time of the day.


Secondly, I have added quick navigation throughout Gold Valley and it also includes the locations of the girls.

This quick navigation will be unlocked after finishing the first quest of this new version.


I hope you like these new changes as much as I do, especially the new map!


What am I working on this week? At the moment today, I'm going to start thinking and working on updating the stats interface. I would also like to make a change in the lust power section to make it more visual (like the specialization).

I have to say that the lust power now seems a bit silly to use outside the main story but the other day I came up with an idea to make it more useful... but I have to think about when to implement it.


This will be the last interface thing I'll do for this version (there's something else I want to do but that won't require much work).


I plan to make quick navigation inside the manor but I'll do that when I implement the option to choose your favorite girl as maybe the main interface will change a bit.
