A few small things

- 25 July marks 5 years on Patreon, all the way back when the logo was a swirly orange P. It's been one heck of a ride back into the rough seas of freelance independence, and the voyage wouldn't have been possible without y'all awesome peeps.

- Sales tax thing. I've given the tiers as many tags as I honestly can and have the tax split evenly, so if you are affected, in theory you shouldn't be hit with the full 5%. That's the idea anyway.

- The big thought of the day: What is it that I offer?

If you pledge to a Patreon that boldly proclaims they're creating SEXY FANART or MACHO MACHO MEN, you know exactly what you're getting. Me? I do a little bit of everything, always late for fads and trends and memes, no IP or franchise I'm really a big fan of. So that puts 'fanart' into a some-of-the-time category.

I wonder; should I specialize in style/method? which is 2D ART and safely covers a lotta things including animated clips... or do I specialize in a niche topic that is purely my own, like CHINESE FLAVORED ART. (NO MSG ADDED)

Easy answer: You do you. I'm here for you and what you do, whatever it is you decide to do. You have a delightfully unique style and outlook on things that's exotic and fun. You are a gem in all this madness of a world. You offer "Exotic 2D Illustrations and Graphics". There, I try to help. :)

Most of these statements of purpose tend to be pretty vague for everyone.

• good luck. • eh, i've been paying the 22% italian "luxury goods tax" for the past 5 years anyway. 😅 • "Concepts, 2D Art and Illustrations" sounds good for all you described, so you don't really box yourself too much and you can try whatever you wish. But yes, your take on both chinese mythos and pop culture in general is really neat.
