Maria's promise

NOTE: All this post have spoilers related to what you should already know if you have played v0.3.0 although there are some small details that we will know later, but they are really small details related to Maria's lore. If you are not interested in spoilers, stop reading from the final section "Maria's promise".

Maria... Who is Maria? A perverted priestess? A great politician? Maria is a lot of things...

Maria is a 32 year old priestess who has been ruling Gold Valley for a long time. How long? She alone more than 5 years, since the war against Vanessa started.

But let's not jump ahead to the present... Maria is a woman born and raised in Gold Valley, we know nothing about her past life or her family, but we do know that she was an important figure during the reign of the former Champion.

She was always close to the former Gold Valley Champion and was his future wife, although that day never arrived... what arrived was the betrayal of the former Champion.

You know the story, the current Champion at that time began to make very bad political decisions that made Gold Valley lose very powerful allies and many mercantile contracts.

After these bad decisions, Maria along with other important figures, tried to convince the Champion to retire with his harem and give way to new blood and new opportunities to make Gold Valley grow again.

Did he accept the contions? No... instead of retiring with his own harem and marrying Maria, he decided to betray all his people in exchange for infinite money... he would think it would be the best for him and be able to retire as a millionaire, at least these are the theories people have in Gold Valley.

But marrying a harem? Yes, in Gold Valley there has been free love and the concept of "harem love" since the beginning of time. It is the only region in the whole kingdom that has such peculiarities and laws about it all, with the approval of the supreme court of the kingdom.

So the Champion of Gold Valley is not only rewarded with the loyalty of his people, he is also rewarded with the love of every girl who belongs to the town and especially the girls who are part of his harem.

In the present day, will the future Champion have everything that the former Champion once had? Who knows...

But back to who Maria is.

Maria is currently the highest rank that Gold Valley has held since all that has happened. She is the "Valley Lady" and she is the maximum responsible for everything related to Gold Valley. A really important woman, isn't she?

The most interesting thing about Maria is not who she is politically, but who she is as a whole. Priestesses in this world have the task of helping and healing the needy and being in charge of their people. Maria is more peculiar than a priestess usually is, and no, it's not because she's the most perverted one in the place, but because she has Aynia's blessing. This blessing allows her to control pure lust on a small scale and thus protect her people from Vanessa's corruption.

This allows her to have different powers that we see as we get to know Maria better, but there is still much to discover about her... 

The most remarkable thing? We will not talk about her body, but about her age. 32 years old? She doesn't look like a 32 year old woman in the Lust Age world. Mona is a bit younger than Maria but on the other hand Maria looks younger than Mona, why is that? Although we will know more details in the future, thanks to Aynia's blessing, it allows her to age at a much slower rate than an ordinary human. Interesting, isn't it?

There is a lot to know about Maria, we still don't even know why we can't bathe with her in the evenings, although we will soon find out. We also don't know much about her life or sentimental side, that remains to be seen.

But back to the present... we all know Maria, all the inhabitants of Gold Valley love Maria and in one way or another they all show their love towards her, either in a sexual way or in a loyalty and gratitude way. No girl in this place can avoid behaving in an affectionate way with other girls, but Maria is the most loved by all.

Does this mean that the girls will fight over Maria? No, the girls fight over you but they all have a small place in their hearts for Maria. You too have grown fond of Maria over time, so it's obvious that you understand Maria's way of being, whether she's kinky, dominant or a bad joker. 

But don't worry, Maria will swear eternal love to the Gold Valley Champion. Will you be able to win Maria's love? Be yourself, spend time with her and someday you will know, future champion.

In the other hand, is she really a bad joker or is this all intentional? Little by little we will know the truth...

At the present time, with your help, Maria rules Gold Valley, but she knows that little by little you must take control of Gold Valley if you want to be a good Champion and although the wounds of the past are still present, Maria and Gold Valley have decided to trust you. Your mark is an addition, but you yourself prove every day that you are worthy of being the future Champion of Gold Valley... sometimes hard to believe, isn't it? The hard part was that Anna moved to Gold Valley and accepted to be part of your harem and your life. Why? Soon we will know more about Anna's story, today we talk about Maria.

Over time you have gained enough trust that Maria left you in charge of Sara, which is a very important thing and you knew that Sara deserved a second chance and I think you don't regret that choice, the girls adore her...

Maria's promise

All this brings us to Maria's promise. Maria in one of her talks with you promises that if one day you win the trust of the people and her, you will be rewarded for it. You might think it would be sex, an orgy in the refuge or even that she will let you bathe with the rescued girls in the evening...

Well, it's none of those rewards... your reward is... free stuff! It's going to be one of those rare times when Maria will take care of absolutely everything and pay for it herself.

But what rewards exactly? Those rewards are rewards for your future new rank which will be the first important rank you will access.

But let's leave that aside... Maria will reward you with the first management room of Gold Valley in your own manor. You no longer need to go to the refuge whenever you want to talk to her.

Maria also decides to repair the second floor, where we will find... more rooms as it is obvious. 

Are more girls moving in? Yes, there are quite a few girls interested for different reasons in moving in with you but for that we will have to be patient and make our life in Gold Valley in the meantime.

Maria is intentionally reparing the second floor, but why? The answer I think is obvious, the captain is moving into our manor! Obviously it is Maria who is moving in with us and she will be part of our life on a more sentimental and naughty level in equal parts.

So... yes, you can expect Maria as the main girl in the next version. She will explain more details about that decision, although we will learn more about the future with her and the girls throughout our adventure in future updates. 

Ignore the lvl numbers bad position

For the moment, she will be like every new girl, lvl3 cap and all her stats will be unlocked at those levels.

So have a little patience because soon you will be able to spend time with Maria and get to know her more personally. Maybe soon come the day when she will fulfill everything she jokes about your penis, who knows...
