Monday already? Technically no...

It's been a "long" weekend despite taking Saturday off. Now I'm back since Sunday at my usual pace although I try to have some free time in the morning to clear my mind.


Apart from the no important things about first world dev problems... I bring progress! Although it's interface level... ahem.


This week I plan to finish the new day system since it's going to change. If you've played "Stardew Valley", you'll be familiar with the new system because after thinking about everything I want to introduce over time, a system like this is the best for LA. 


Why is that?

Simple, currently the weekends are already taken up by a zone event (Panty/bikini weekend) and I want to make the tavern upgradeable to the point where there are "nudist" days in the tavern but not for this version as this version is focused on "vanilla" girls. So, faced with the problem of saturating the weekend, using "seasons/months" allows me to add more events at different times of the year in LA.

So for example, nudism can take place throughout the summer all over Gold Valley while the rest of the year just normal as usual. This not only gives more immersion to the world of LA, but also allows you to do exclusive quests and events at different times of the year without interfering with the main quests. In short, it allows me to add more things with more freedom.

Little by little I will try to make it more immersive and give you more things to do while waiting for the next time of the year. 

Although for the lazy ones I'll make an option to sleep whole months with some penalty from Lisapi *wink*. But that will be when there will be more content and it will be distributed in different times of the year.

This will also allow me to add new exclusive events coinciding with real dates (like Christmas) during the development of LA.


That said, I'll now show you what I've been working on all day.

NOTE: It's not implemented in the code so "Season ----- Year" is provisional so you can understand it better.

It's summer, so...  summer time!


And my favourite season, winter. Will Lisapi's gift be to use it with her? Who knows.


Also, from the new version the accountant will make you a summary of the weekly earnings (with a little animation on the numbers).

I will explain in detail in the changelog but depending on the benefits the accountant will show you the summary dressed or... what you see. Although I might add an additional pose on the right. I have to think about it.

For the moment the choice to keep investing, stop investing, etc. will remain the same as I was making the changes for that too but it requires a lot of work both at interface and code level, so I'm going to leave it for when the last material you can invest in is introduced (minerals).



I've made some changes that are just details but they are the ones I like the most as they give logic/continuity to things. 

see anything different? When you unlock the management room, the interface background (and animation) for both investment and building changes. Is it silly? Possibly, but I like those little changes.


Last but not least... in order to be more comfortable for you and me, I have made a rework to the investments and buildings.

Sorry for the spanglish, but when modifying some things I have to translate it again... same with the numbers alignment.


Oh, yeah, in the next version you will be able to invest in flowers!


And that's all I've done since Friday. I hope this week I can finish everything I have planned because every day I'm mentally checking Anna's level which is the one I'm most looking forward to work on right now because it's going to be very special... There will also be a special one with Mara but... it's not the same... with Anna's it requires more "tact/touch" to write it and do it. 

Although that doesn't mean that Mara's is going to be worse, no girl is left behind here, but I'm not going to get into a spiral of trying to justify things. Just wait for the next version and you'll understand (spoiler: Anna will stop being Tsundere with you almost 100% and start the process of becoming.... Yand- ahem, who knows? Even Lisapi doesn't know the answer!)


Oh, before I forget! I was thinking about how to start introducing everything related to the "date-sim" so I've been thinking all day today and I hope that on Friday I'll be able to explain what the new mini-game is about! 

There will be a new mini-game with the main girls (at the moment only Anna, Yuna and Mara). It's a bit "silly" but the "date-sim" part will always be accompanied by love/romanticism and complicity... although there will always be naughty things, but I want to try to focus it a bit on "innocent" moments between you and the girls. The mini-game will be "rock paper scissors" but I still have to design it all.


I will explain you more details when I have it ready but thanks to this mini-game you will be able to win love points and with those points you will be able to unlock things related to the girls' likes and dislikes. For this version you will be able to know the age and birthday of the girls!


All this will be unlocked through a mini love task, so I'm starting to make use of those tasks too.

I have a different mini-game in mind for sexiness with Yuna, but... as I'm not 100% decided, I won't talk about it... for the moment.


See you on Friday and hopefully with a lot of progress because the moment I finish everything at interface level, everything else will be easier to plan (dialogues/scenes).
