Thank you post + Dev Diary #33

I can't believe it... A DD at a "normal" time? Stop, I'm getting off right here.

Well, I'm going to do this DD along with the thank you post to all the patrons who are here today.

The DD is an extra for all those who don't have access to the Friday DDs. A silly thing? Yes, but today really interesting spoilers that I'm not going to share on Discord...

Let's start!

We are currently getting closer and closer to 100 patrons. I say 100 for the simple reason that when I made all the goals I also included a goal per patron, the problem is that Patreon doesn't let you have simultaneous goals for patrons and earnings... so I made a post.

On the other hand, we are gradually getting rid of the first goal. I wanted to be sure, because as I said before, I've seen devs make an thank you post and a few days/weeks later they didn't meet the requirements of the first goal again...

Honestly I don't want to stay with a poker face + facepalm if that happens next month but I hope that LA will be more visible in the communities where I have it published and more people will be interested in supporting me.

The "promotion" thing with the codes is going really well, who doesn't like to receive prizes in exchange for leaving a comment so I can see what you like and dislike about LA? For me it's the best way to encourage people to share their thoughts in the different communities so future players can read different opinions.

So with the goals topic over, I just hope the Kings don't want to troll me and cancel the pledge for a month to see how the goal drops.... (Dread, Lisapi is watching you).

Jokes aside... We are almost at version 5.0, that means that soon LA will be half a year since its first version.

To be honest I didn't even think we were going to reach 3.0 because I don't do this as a hobby, it's my livelihood nowadays and you know that I make an effort every day to grow and dedicate myself to this professionally.

I am currently receiving from Patreon almost the average salary for working part time in my country (4h although in reality I work +10h a day as a dev... huh...).

I've had my ups and downs with all this because it's quite demotivating to see the jungle out there as a dev and see how many devs do bad practices and are earning good money every month. But as my grandmother always said: Comparisons never bring good things, life is not fair and you have to work hard to get what you want. Additionally, I am not one to judge where people decide to invest their money. I do my best to make sure that you never regret investing money in me.

I will always be grateful to anyone who supports me, because it is thanks to you that LA exists.

If it wasn't for the support I receive here on Patreon, 3.0 wouldn't even exist because I would have looked for a job related to my field (IT) and I would have closed the project because this is not a hobby, my hobbies are playing videogames, not developing them.

That doesn't mean I don't enjoy what I do, on the contrary. I love doing what I do and above all I love seeing how the learning and improvement curve keeps going up little by little. I love having created all my girls and now, even though it hasn't been long, I can't imagine stopping developing LA and having a job outside of all this and have to say goodbye to all the girls.

That's why I'm going to keep striving every day as hard as the first day (even more) to make LA the best I'm able to create as a developer and make it your favourite hentai world where you want to spend hours playing (fap and not fap).

So again, thank you very much to all the founders and to all of you who have come along over the time.

I don't forget the most active and the oldest ones. Obviously I don't know all the names unless I interact a lot with you, but I don't forget you.

There's also Titan, who's been here since the beginning too and I don't know how we went from two strangers to bros and even becoming an Aspirant King...

And I'm not going to forget Tiker, who really competes with Dread in finding bugs and in these last versions has found bugs that would make Lisapi cry.

I'll make a last mention at Patreon level although I would like to mention you all but the post is getting too long and we haven't talked about DD yet...

I'd like to mention 夕立, a programmer who went from writing me super long texts and addressing me in a very polite to bully me whenever he has the chance.

I really appreciate the relationship that we have come to consolidate because the idea of the achievements in the community codes is yours. Not to mention the programming classes that you give me from time to time and that have helped me to optimise things in the code.

Ginyu, I'm not forgetting you, you've been with me for a long time too... but I'm not going to add chubby girls! You have Lisapi and Patricia! How about a threesome in compensation? I like the idea *sip*

Seriously now, I thank you all very much for the time you've been with me and all the new ones... I hope you like LA enough to keep supporting me, although I'll have to take care of that myself.

Time to thank my proofreaders. Seraph, you're finally going to see a DD full of spelling mistakes and engrish, enjoy hahaha.

I'm going to mention @justmemeing quickly because we've talked about everything privately and he's such a bastard that he doesn't even want to pay 1€! So fuck you! Just kidding, he knows I love him and that he will always have a special place as he has been with me for a long time as proofreader although in a while he will have to stop helping me.

Interesting thing with Seraph, I thought that the native speakers would be the hardest with me (I have had some bad experiences with some natives, but you should never generalise) but with Seraph just the opposite. He corrects my pre-EAs in record time and he checks all the dialogues in depth from time to time. So all perfect and he's also "girl beer" gang, so extra points for him *big sip*

So as I said, thank you all again and I hope we'll be together for a long time watching LA grow more and more.

That said... Let's get on to today's DD

I love it when I get ideas at 2am /s

Anna's level I'm going to add something that I've already had enough to work with and now I'm going to make it repeatable...

SPOILER: Yes, a double boobjob with Mara and Anna that also has two speeds (slow/fast) with a little plot twist that has been improvised.

The best part? Actually it's not the best... I have been awake until 6am trying to make sure all the positions were "perfect" and there wasn't any clipping or just the very subtle ones that you have to look at in detail to notice.

I'm really happy with the final result even though it has taken me almost all week to work on it... the level is not very long but in general it has required a lot of work because it also includes feetlick (girl to girl) and I didn't think it was going to be so much work to change the posture every few dialogues...

That said, I have Anna's level 6 finished and tested.

I've added two extra options at the end but they will be unlocked at Anna and Mara's level 7 (you'll need trust level 7 with Anna and Mara). Both options are quite interesting and one of them is an animation...

Want to see the animation? You'll have to wait to play.

The level includes domination by Mara towards you and Anna but more focused on Anna. I have already designed the option to skip that part and go to the part where Anna and Mara tell you things you didn't know about them (Lisapi also gives you a summary to put you in context).

I don't have any experience in domination so it's quite soft so it also fits quite well with LA's line.

Today I'm going to work on Anna's level 7 dialogues and hopefully by the weekend I'll be more than finished, tested and working on Mara's level 6. I have to test what I want to do because in Mara's level 6 or... I'll have to change at least what we do with her on a sexual level. The only thing I can say about Mara's level 6 is that we will finally bath with her in the hot springs.

I'm very short of time in terms of dates but I think it won't be a problem to keep the beta for next weekend (Friday or Saturday taking into account that I have to translate).

So I'll see you on Monday and hopefully I'll be able to show you more things.
