It has been an interesting week.

This week thanks to the changes in tiers and release dates... I felt less pressure mentally.

It's allowed me to not only fix all the bugs I've been finding but also to redo some things in the intro. 


For example now when Aynia talks about Vanessa for the first time, Vanessa has a 5 second animation instead of a static image or the old 1 second animation.

I've also redone when Mabel visits you in your room to give you Maria's letter. Here is an example before vs now:

I used to work with "natural" lighting and following the logic that if the window is on the right, the light should point from that direction (as in real life). The difference is that it is much better this type of lighting (actual) so that the shadows don't look weird. Although sometimes I let the shadow be less direct, depending on the situation, although I always try to light the girl directly (example: sex scenes).


Some other details during the intro have also been changed. Eventually the whole intro will be redone, although I think I've already said this a few times.


I've also redone the part when you meet Mabel in the central plaza:


Extra: In 5 versions I haven't noticed this... look in detail at the ribbon and the Captain's arms, all gucci, right? Yes...

I still have to do Maria's full body poses but I'll do that between today and tomorrow.


That aside, I've prepared a bugfixed version before the EA so that those who haven't been able to play the beta can do it with few bugs and just some broken English. I've reviewed everything and applied new translations + fix bugs that those who have played the beta have reported and what I've found.


The bugfixes version will be up in an hour at most. Dread, I was going to troll you and put your name in every sentence but it's... too much of a troll.


So for the rest of the week I'll be finishing checking dialogues, changing Maria's stuff and maybe some other things in the intro or first quests.


I'm looking forward to start working on the next version as I want to decide whether to finally make the new map or leave it for later as the 6.0 list is full of things to do (just like the 7.0).
