Dev Diary #104: v0.18.0 overview

Now that the beta is out, it's time for an overview of the new version!

As a side note, the first EA will be available on Saturday/Sunday and the public version will be available on December 16th.

The aim is to show some bits of the new content, so that means there will be spoilers everywhere, although I'll try not to show anything super relevant. Also, at the end of the post, I will drop the change log.

That said, I'll save the spicy stuff for the next post which will be a sneak peek for patrons. This overview will be posted on Itch too, there I'll add some extra sneak peek (basically because I can't post NSFW content here unless it's patrons only).

So, what's new?

Achievement point rewards have finally been added:

I'll try to add new stuff in batches, so for this first batch, rewards related to classic girls. The next time I add more rewards it will be about Alina/Myra, then Tali/Maria... and so on.

As always, on hard mode, there will be fetish-related stuff. This time it's feet, but I plan to add pee stuff as well.

Moving on to the paintings in MC's room:

I've decided to restructure this menu a bit and now the girls' paintings are in the "Girls..." section. The purpose of this is not to fill the screen with infinite options...

Additionally, I have added the "Throne" section, which includes the exclusive paintings of each Throne member who has made a request.

And finally as far as interface stuff is concerned... I've decided to do a final restructure of the girls' backgrounds panel. The backgrounds are now separated into sections. This way, it's less messy internally, and adding fetish content is much easier as it's structured.

And we move on to... the new feature. But first I should explain what the new quest is about, shouldn't I?

Summary without too many spoilers:

With the excuse that Maria wants to give more important tasks to our future Champion, Lisapi is going to start getting more involved with the people of Gold Valley.

For this, both the MC and Lisapi are going to do medical check-ups on the people.

Once the quest is finished, you will be able to do check-ups on all the people (4 girls are available in this version).

Not only that, but you will be able to check all the information about each girl.

Obviously, the checkups include checking the girls' bodies, which is where Lisapi comes in, with your help. At the moment it's all pretty simple and focused on getting to know the extra girls while at the same time seeing them in their underwear and naked without having to use any power. Additionally, all the girls include some feet content.

And... that's it! I think my final note for future overviews is: It's hard to summarize everything without showing anything too relevant but still showing interesting stuff.

Want to know more about the inhabitants of Gold Valley (extra girls)? Now you can!

• Complete the main quest "I need a check-up" to unlock this new feature.
• Once unlocked, you will be able to do a general check-up on the girls with Lisapi's help.
• Rewards: Experience points (Lisapi/Maria), Proof of trust, affinity points, intelligence points, and gold.
• Limitations: Only 4 check-ups can be done each week.
• This is due to the amount of rewards received each time (more details ingame).
• Inhabitants available: 4

Fetishes: Each inhabitant includes feet content.

- New feature: ACHIEVEMENT REWARDS -

Achievement rewards have been added. These rewards are automatically unlocked by getting the required achievement points. Available rewards:

• Backgrounds: Yuna, Anna, Mara
• Paintings: Yuna, Anna, Mara
• Packs: Starter, Refined, Quality, Brave (hard mode only). These packs contain different materials/items that will help you in your adventure.
• Extra (hard mode only): Paintings of Mona, Mabel, and Glenda. These paintings are feet content.

NOTE: To see all available rewards go to "Achievement panel -> Rewards icon (same icon as achievement points)".

General changes (girls' backgrounds)

• The main/secondary girls' panel (backgrounds) code has been restructured and optimised.
• Due to the above-mentioned, different sections have been added to the girls' backgrounds.
• This time it is separated by icons and different sections instead of being all grouped in one section.
• The backgrounds are now sorted into sections: General, outfits, feet.

Fetishes: This includes a new design for feet-related cards (hover/unhover).

General changes

• Restructured the paintings menu to have a more logical order.
• Added "Throne" section to the paintings menu. Includes 4 new paintings and are available once you talk to Maria about the paintings (unlock her crafting panel). It is not necessary to craft these paintings.
• Added "Achievements" section in the paintings menu.
• Restructured Lisapi's "Miscellaneous" menu to have a more logical order.

Bug fixes

• With the restructuring of the girls' background panel, several visual bugs have been fixed.
• This includes that now Maria's outfit is not unlocked before finishing the quest related to that outfit.
• Now if you haven't talked to Maria about paintings, empty menus should no longer appear in the paintings menu.
• Fixed a bug that allowed you to go to the Refuge at night.
• Fetishes: Now it is correctly displayed when Maria/Mara are available to get pregnant.
