The good and the bad.
Added 2018-01-14 05:05:44 +0000 UTCWell this most recent update has increased enemy scaling. This has caused some unintended side effects.
The biggest problem is during low level play. While players with a few levels under their belts are really enjoying the more potent scaling of enemies, new comers to World Difficulty are having a hard time. Every enemy has had their damage thresholds increased by a small percentage thanks to this update.
My Spawn conditions are being forced more often now, for example the death Penalty. While this was less than a 5% chance before, it has been increased to 50%. Users of my work will notice a much more diverse landscape thanks to this. Though this wasn't intended, it's not something I intend to change. I rather like the increased conditions, so users get to see some of my best work in action.
There are other yet undiscovered conditions, I'm hoping players are shocked by these with the increased frequency. I've had to go from working on expanding World Difficulty, to rebalancing it thanks to this update. Once I have finally nailed down the root of the scaling problems, the Version Update will again commence.
Keep in mind this only affects very low level play. Anyone over level 15 should find the usual experience.
